Steve Fox, who plays bass for Godiego, is from Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture.
Their seventh single, “Gandhara,” was used as the ending theme for the Nippon TV drama Saiyuki and became their biggest hit.
This song was also Godiego’s first track with Japanese lyrics.
Gei School: The Kan-gumi!!Sendai Kamotsu

The members of the comic band Sendai Kamotsu are from Miyagi Prefecture.
Although they went on hiatus in 2009, they resumed activities in 2011, returning to band work only.
“Gei School Otoko Gumi!!” was released as their second single and reached a peak position of No.
5 on the Oricon chart.
Moon Love SongKumagai Ikumi

Ikumi Kumagai is a singer-songwriter from and currently living in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture.
Familiar with the piano from a young age, she made her major-label debut in November 2009 with the single “Hitomachi-gumo.” Her emotionally rich piano-and-vocal ballads resonate deeply.
Chosen to perform the theme song for the film Trick: The Movie – Psychic Battle Royale, she quickly drew attention for a voice that combines clarity and strength.
Her first album, To the Blue Beyond, won the Tohoku Block Award at the 4th CD Shop Awards, and her theme song “Good-bye My Love” for the film Kuchizuke earned the Outstanding Theme Song Award, making her an artist with a brilliant track record.
Where We’re HeadedTakahashi Hitomi

Hitomi Takahashi is a singer from Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture, and this song was released in 2005 as her debut single.
It was used as the third opening theme for the MBS/TBS anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY and as the ending theme for NHK’s Pop Jam, and it reached No.
1 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.

FRAM, vocalist of the unit Unwave and also active as a singer-songwriter, hails from Kesennuma City in Miyagi Prefecture.
While attending a vocational school, she formed Unwave in March 2017 and began her music career, initially based in Sendai.
After moving to Tokyo, she produced works including the album “Combination!”.
She has also been proactive in her solo career: in 2022, after being in charge of an ending theme for a game title, she was subsequently selected to perform theme songs for a string of popular TV anime.
Her strengths lie in songwriting powered by perfect pitch cultivated since childhood, and a vocal style that combines clarity with power.
In April 2024, she was appointed “Minato Kesennuma Ambassador,” reflecting her deep love for her hometown.

Liho is a singer-songwriter from Kakuda City in Miyagi Prefecture, who continues to base her activities within the prefecture.
With an acoustic guitar in hand, she explores a wide range of genres—rooted in J-pop while venturing into folk and rock.
Her studies in early childhood education at university and her experience working at a children’s care facility lend a deep warmth to her music.
She began her solo career in March 2018, and Cheese Cake, a track from her mini-album REFOREST, drew attention on a local radio station.
Her songs have been featured in many local commercials, including for Miyagi Kenmin Kyōsai (Miyagi Prefectural Mutual Aid).
In April 2022, she was appointed a PR ambassador for Kakuda City, affirming her strong reputation in her hometown.
I fake mesoraru (After the Rain)

Soraru is a singer-songwriter who also performs in the duo After the Rain with the vocalist Mafumafu.
He began his activities on Niconico in 2008, and his total views have surpassed 200 million.
Currently, in addition to posting videos online, he releases music via streaming and CDs and performs live.
His own songs have been featured as theme songs in various films and anime, further expanding his fanbase.
He’s also an avid gamer and streams not only singing videos but also gameplay commentary videos.
