the WORLDNIGHTMARE

All members of the visual kei band Nightmare are from Miyagi Prefecture.
Their ninth single, “the WORLD/Alumina,” earned them their first entry into the Oricon Top 10.
“the WORLD” was used as the opening theme for the Nippon TV anime DEATH NOTE.
I can’t find a goodbyemakino megumi

Megumi Makino is from Minamisanriku, Motoyoshi District, Miyagi Prefecture (formerly Utatsu).
After working as a tour bus guide for Kokusai Kogyo Bus, she switched to a singing career in 2003.
She made her debut that year with this song, and the following year, 2004, she received the Wired Music Award at the 37th Japan Wired Music Awards.
Pyoko Pyoko UltraMōningu Musume.

Ayumi Ishida, a member of the idol group Morning Musume, is from Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture.
She is the first member of Morning Musume to come from the Tohoku region.
The 48th single, “Pyoko Pyoko Ultra,” was the first single she participated in after joining.
The song was used as the opening theme for the NTV drama “Suugaku?? Joshi Gakuen.”
Blue starVidoru

Jui, who was the vocalist for the visual kei rock band Vidoll, is from Miyagi Prefecture.
Their 14th single, “Blue star,” was used as the ending theme for TV Asahi’s program Gyoutech.
Vidoll disbanded in 2011.

I WILL GET YOUR KISSNakagawa Akinori

Akinori Nakagawa is a singer-songwriter from Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, and this song was released in 2005.
It was featured on NHK’s “Minna no Uta,” and tells the story of a starfish boy named Cell and his budding love for a beautiful mermaid princess.
The animation was created by Kunio Kato, who later won the 81st Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film for “La Maison en Petits Cubes.”
You are the wind.Sasaki Yukio

Yukio Sasaki was born in Monou District, Miyagi Prefecture.
After graduating from university, he appeared as a solo performer at the 7th World Popular Song Festival in 1975, and in the same year won a prize at the 11th Popcon finals with the song “Kimi wa Kaze.” He debuted in 1976 with “Kimi wa Kaze” and went on to release many hit songs.
He is currently active mainly in Sapporo.

Atsushi Sato and Shingo Sugawara, who were active as the rock band Mukakaze, are from Miyagi Prefecture.
Their debut single “Hitori Janai” was used in a Promise commercial and became a long-running hit.
It reached No.
17 on the Oricon chart.
Mukakaze disbanded in 2012.
