JX Metals TV commercial “JX Kyun-zoku (Everyday Life)” 30-second version

This is a JX Metals commercial where Mana Ashida is gazing at a night view when Copper-kun, the copper fairy mascot, appears.

Copper-kun earnestly emphasizes that copper is essential to our daily lives.

When Ms.

Ashida says, “Copper is amazing!” he blushes bright red and gets embarrassed.

It’s a memorable ad featuring Ms.

Ashida’s smile and the cute Copper-kun.

SUZUKI Spacia “Illumination” VersionMana Ashida, Tasuku Emoto, Emma Miyazawa, Riko Suzuki

Spacia TV commercial: “Our Next-Door Neighbor Is Spacia – Illumination” edition

This piece depicts Mana Ashida, playing a college student, going to see the illuminations with the neighbor family who bought a Spacia.

When they return to the car from the cold outdoors, the circulator that delivers warm air from the air conditioner all the way to the rear seats is featured, highlighting its convenience.

The sparkling visuals make it a commercial that evokes a wintry atmosphere.

Y!mobile “Parent and Child, It’s All Good” Version

Mana Ashida becomes Bakabon in a sailor uniform! With Degawa and Ryusei Yokohama, “Shee!” New Y!mobile student discount TV commercial: “It’s fine as parent and child!” version

This is Y!mobile’s “Y!mobile Student Discount” commercial titled “Oyako de Ii no da” (“It’s Fine as Parent and Child”).

It’s a parody of the theme song of the manga Tensei Bakabon with rewritten lyrics.

Tetsuro Degawa appears as the parent, dressed like Bakabon’s Papa, while child actress Mana Ashida sports Bakabon’s signature spiral cheek marks.

Ryusei Yokohama also appears in a school uniform.

Futenyan, Y!mobile’s mascot, shows up too, transforming into “Nyarome” partway through, and even the “Rerere-no-Ojisan” pops up in the background, making it a fun commercial.

The Girl Who Leapt Through TimeMana Ashida, Kanji Furutachi, Futenyan

How old is the grown-up Mana Ashida, really? A reporter goes straight to the source! Y!mobile’s new commercial “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time” (30 seconds)

This is the Y!mobile commercial “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time” featuring Mana Ashida.

The CM song is, of course, Tomoyo Harada’s “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time,” released in 1983.

It’s a documentary-style ad where a reporter confronts Mana Ashida—about whom there are hushed rumors that she’s actually older than her years due to her composure—asking, “Aren’t you actually 60 years old?” It’s incredibly rude, but calling a teenage girl 60 is such a huge leap that you can’t help but laugh.

Easy Smartphone 2 “One Easy Smartphone, please” versionMana Ashida, Tomio Umezawa, Futenyan

Mana Ashida’s adorable shop clerk delivers “god-tier service,” making Tomio Umezawa melt! Y!mobile’s new TV commercial “Easy Smartphone, please!” and behind-the-scenes footage

This is a commercial for the “Kantan Smartphone 2,” available from Y!mobile.

Mana Ashida plays a store clerk who persuades customers aged 60 and over to buy the “Kantan Smartphone 2,” with Tomio Umezawa giving a great performance as one such customer.

Futenyan, who teasingly throws the line “It’s easy” at Umezawa—who’s all too easily swayed—is absolutely adorable.

Whether it’s SoftBank’s dog who plays the father or Futenyan, animal characters are indeed soothing and have a strong presence, don’t they?

Townwork ‘Suspension Bridge’ EpisodeTakuya Kimura, Mana Ashida

RECRUIT TOWNWORK commercial 'Suspension Bridge' version, 15 seconds

The Townwork commercial “Suspension Bridge” featuring Takuya Kimura and Mana Ashida in zombie makeup.

It’s a snapshot while they’re getting ready to shoot a zombie movie, with Kimura and Ashida talking about Ashida’s friend.

When Ashida says, “Once again, just my bad luck,” Kimura mishears it as “Townwork?” and from there things take a slightly odd turn.

When Ashida restates her story, this time she clearly says “Townwork,” and although Kimura calls her out on it, she stays unfazed—leaving Kimura confused by the word “Townwork.” The ad is filled with comedic banter and makes you really curious about the movie they’re filming.

Townwork “Raft” VersionTakuya Kimura, Mana Ashida

[RECRUIT] Townwork [Mana Ashida][Takuya Kimura] 15-second commercial

The commercial where Takuya Kimura and Mana Ashida appear as themselves is the Townwork “Raft” edition.

This ad is a unique piece depicting Mana Ashida and Takuya Kimura during a commercial shoot.

In their dialogue, Kimura asks what Townwork is, and Ashida answers his question with the phrase “ito okashi.” Since it’s a commercial, there isn’t any deep meaning; it’s designed to make an impact, which is likely why the content is presented this way.
