Halloween NightAKB48

AKB48’s 41st single, “Halloween Night,” released in 2015.
The song features Rino Sashihara—now active not only in variety shows but also as a producer—as the center, and it was used in a commercial for Asahi’s “WONDA Morning Shot.” With an allure that feels like it draws you into another world and slightly romantic lyrics, it’s a disco tune brimming with a grown-up mood and retro vibes, in addition to a catchiness reminiscent of “Koi Suru Fortune Cookie.” The lustrous vocals and laid-back rhythm are pleasant and sure to amp up Halloween, and it might also pair nicely with a relaxing drink when you’re feeling tired.
Saturday nightBay City Rollers

I bet there are people who feel their youth come rushing back when they hear this song! Bay City Rollers’ “Saturday Night,” by the Scottish pop-rock band from the UK, is their signature hit that was released in the U.S.

You often hear it in various commercials, and it was used for DyDo Blend Coffee among canned coffee ads.
It’s a fun number with a surging melody line and a rock ’n’ roll rhythm that makes you feel giddy—you can’t help but start swaying! It’s curious how, even though it’s “Saturday Night,” it also has a fresh, morning-or-afternoon kind of brightness.
In any case, the mood that makes you want to dance from the inside out is just the best, and it’s sure to make your Saturday night even more enjoyable!

The song was a big hit in Japan as well and was even covered by Akiko Wada.
Thats the way a Woman isMessengers

YMCAVillage People

Former professional baseball player Hideki Matsui appears as a groundskeeper maintaining the field in the Kirin canned coffee “FIRE” commercial, titled “Groundskeeper.” The song used in this ad is the Village People’s classic “Y.M.C.A.” In Japan, Hideki Saijo’s cover “YOUNG MAN (Y.M.C.A.)” is well known! In Major League Baseball, just like Matsui in the commercial, groundskeepers perform a dance to this song after the end of the fifth inning.
Japan’s pro team the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters also use this song for a similar performance.
It’s a bright, energetic number that makes everyone want to strike the “YMCA” poses during the chorus!
Linda Linda (parody version)Bīto Takeshi, Gekidan Hitori, Sawabe Yū, Kamiki Ryūnosuke, Kawaei Rina

The song that Beat Takeshi, Gekidan Hitori, Yū Sawabe of Haraichi, Ryunosuke Kamiki, and Rina Kawaei—who serve as Wonda’s commercial spokespeople—sing in the commercial is “Linda Linda” by THE BLUE HEARTS.
Released in 1987 as their debut single, the song has been covered by artists such as Mari Natsuki and Mamoru Miyano, and has frequently been featured across various media.
