You raise me upCeltic Woman

This commercial features Ms.
Koyuki narrating to highlight what Panasonic’s VIERA is particular about.
Here, it focuses on how glare has been reduced, conveying the aim of making the TV easier to watch.
The grand atmosphere portrayed in the visuals is further accentuated by the song “You Raise Me Up” by Celtic Woman.
The blend of gently resonant strings and soaring vocals is striking, conveying a sense of grandeur while creating a moving mood.
Seino Transportation Company SongSeino Unyu

This is the company song of Seino Transportation, famous for its kangaroo logo.
Its retro vibe really feels like a classic “company anthem,” which is quite nice.
Seino has a corporate baseball team, and I hear this song is performed at their tournaments and other events.
Perhaps because most truck drivers are men—though I’m not sure if that’s the reason—the song somehow conveys a distinctly masculine atmosphere.
Even on a first listen, it feels somehow nostalgic, and it naturally sticks with you.
By all means, try singing it out with all your might.
Bright future ~ Forge ahead on the pathless road! ~Kabushiki Gaisha Tenpo Inobēshon
Here is the song that won the Judges’ Award at the 2017 Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Company Anthem Contest.
The lyrics, composition, and arrangement are credited only to the “Tempo Innovation Cheer Squad,” so it’s unclear whether it was created by a well-known figure or exactly who was involved.
The promotional video features employees singing and dancing together as one, and it radiates a strong sense of motivation.
Surely the process of creating this company song further strengthened their unity.
Watching a video like this not only serves as a strong appeal to clients, but also makes you feel like you’d want to join the company as an employee.
In the dawning skyJR Higashi-Nihon

The music was composed by Koichi Morita, known for Koichi Morita and Top Gallant.
The lyrics were written by company employee Yuichi Tokuhira, with additional lyrics by Akira Ito, known for songs like “The Day the Seagulls Flew.” Having an employee write the lyrics and asking a famous lyricist to refine them is a golden pattern for company anthems.
Since employees know the company best, that approach makes sense.
The well-known version is sung by Circus, and it has a refreshing feel.
Broiled Eel by a Master Eel ChefYamada Suisan Kabushiki Gaisha

“Unagishi no Kabayaki,” known as Yamada’s eel song that plays in supermarkets on the Day of the Ox in midsummer, is the company anthem of Yamada Suisan Co., Ltd., which began in a small port town.
The music video is quite well made, with a playful parody vibe and even choreographed moves, making it fun to watch.
In the summer of 2021, there was an online campaign inviting people to post videos or audio using this song, and the top prize for uploading a collaborative video or audio was 20 pieces of domestically produced grilled eel.
Tie-ins like this really help boost the excitement, don’t they?
See The Worldichiran

The promo video starts off with a kind of world music vibe, but it’s actually the company song of the Ichiran Group, known for its tonkotsu ramen.
Employees handled everything—composition, lyrics, and filming—and it apparently took about three years to complete.
You could say it’s well-aged by now.
They also submitted it to the NIKKEI National Company Song Contest.
With contests like this, I bet companies get motivated.
It looks like this contest will keep going, so it’s one to watch.
Ever new each dayNTT

This company song—often sung at NTT’s city baseball games and the Japan Championship—certainly has the ring of a fight song.
The composition is by Norio Maeda; the composer seems to have been someone within the company, and the supplementary lyrics were written by Tokiko Iwatani, a lyricist and translator also known for having managed Fubuki Koshiji.
The Japanese versions of chansons performed by Koshiji were translated and written by Iwatani.
Not only this company song but many others have been created by famous figures; if you look around, you might just discover some true gems.
