Unusual attractions you can do in a classroom for a cultural or school festival
We want to make the most of our once-a-year school festival.
When deciding on our class attraction, the classic exhibits and presentations are great, but since it’s a day to remember, we’d love to try a slightly unusual idea that visitors won’t forget.
So here, we’ll introduce unique class-room-based attraction ideas! From handmade attractions to interactive events, we’ve gathered unusual concepts that are a bit different from other classes.

Classroom attractions and hands-on events (unusual exhibits for school festivals) (11–20)
Seesaw-Combining Coffee Cup

In recent years, school festivals have been drawing attention with full-scale attractions like roller coasters and spinning teacups.
Here’s a slightly unusual attraction we recommend: a flashy-looking ride that combines a seesaw with teacups.
The seesaw moves dramatically up and down, each teacup spins in place, and the entire base also rotates, making for a deluxe setup.
While safety considerations are essential, building something this elaborate on your own would likely bring a great sense of accomplishment.
Giant Whac-A-Mole
@souljatwiggz I happened to be able to go to a certain high school’s cultural festival, so I tried the unusual whack-a-mole game. I scored 30 points.

When you think of Whac-A-Mole, you usually imagine something the size of a tabletop game or the kind you find at an arcade.
But if we made it bigger, wouldn’t it be even more fun? That’s why I’d like to introduce a giant Whac-A-Mole where everyone in the class gets to be the moles.
Instead of something you can play standing in one spot, let’s build it on a scale that requires players to walk a few steps to play! It sounds like an attraction that both the players and the people acting as the moles can enjoy together.
Real Life Game

Here’s a real-life Game of Life that’s sure to hype up your school festival.
Discuss together what kinds of spaces you want and create the board.
It’s best to include everyday situations.
Spin the roulette and move forward the number of spaces shown.
Along the way, experience big events and try to increase your money.
The game ends when everyone reaches the goal.
Since it’s a real-life version, you and your friends actually stand on the spaces and move along.
By setting simple rules, it should get even more exciting!
VR Coaster
Building a roller coaster inside a classroom for the school festival is gaining attention, but if you want to add an extra twist and make yours stand out, this VR coaster is the way to go.
Create a first-person video as if you’re riding the roller coaster, then wear VR goggles and ride the physical coaster you built while watching the footage.
You’ll need both analog and digital work—constructing the coaster and producing the video—so divide up the tasks among your classmates and take on the challenge of creating a high-quality VR coaster.
Treasure Hunt

How about a treasure hunt event held across the whole school or by classroom? The organizers’ staff can hide the treasures in advance and announce the hunt in the school festival pamphlet.
Participants can take the treasures home as they are, or you could hide tickets that can be exchanged for prizes instead.
