Let’s decorate (Hymnal, Part II, No. 129)u~eruzu min’yō
One night, drawn by the excitement of Christmas that fills the park and the sparkling Christmas tree, the snowman characters “Snow Snow,” Snow Mickey and Snow Minnie, make an appearance.
The Snow Snow, who came from an icy world, seem to be up to something in the park at night after everyone has gone! This is a Christmas campaign commercial that uses the carol “Deck the Halls.”
Deck the Halls
This is a song from a Disney Resort commercial.
It’s one of the well-known hymns sung in Christian countries at Christmastime.
In Japan, it’s also familiar under the title “Hiiiragi Kazarou.” The sound of the bells really makes you look forward to Christmas, doesn’t it?
Heigh-Ho
This is a song from Disney’s first feature-length film, Snow White, which was released in 1937.
It was used in a 2015 commercial for the Disney Resort.
The title can be translated as “Heigh-Ho” (literally, “Oh dear”/“Well, well”).
Snow White is said to have originated as a folktale from the German state of Hesse, where the city of Frankfurt is located.
The Twelve Days of Christmas
It’s a song from a Disney Resort commercial.
It’s a celebratory song also known by the Japanese title “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” In the Christian world, the 12 days from Christmas to the New Year when Jesus manifested are considered important.
The day Jesus appeared is also called “Epiphany.”
