Disney Resort commercial songs. Popular commercial songs (21–30)
When You Wish Upon A StarLeigh Harline

This commercial depicts various people enjoying Tokyo Disney Resort alongside everyday outdoor scenes, conveying how the resort has supported each of their memories.
It expresses how memories made in a special place deepen bonds and connect to happiness in everyday life and in the future.
Further enhancing the happy, warm atmosphere shown in the footage is “When You Wish Upon a Star,” familiar as the theme song from Pinocchio.
The gentle vocals layered over the soft-sounding arrangement are striking, and they truly have a calming effect on listeners.
OriginalDizunī

The year 2020 proved to be a difficult time for people around the world.
Tokyo Disney Resort, which has aimed to create a dreamlike world under the theme of a “park that will never be completed,” was no exception.
Perhaps in response to the wishes of Disney fans who wanted to dream precisely because of such times, and thanks to the efforts of everyone involved in the project, a new area opened at Tokyo Disneyland on September 28, 2020—a recent memory for many.
The specially released video was truly moving, and the original music, not derived from existing Disney songs, was also exceptionally beautiful.
One cannot help but hope for the day when we can once again visit the dreamland freely and with peace of mind.
Soaring: Fantastic FlightDizunī

On July 23, 2019, Soaring: Fantastic Flight, a new attraction at Tokyo DisneySea, held its grand opening.
Already hugely popular at Disneyland parks in the United States and Shanghai, the attraction fulfills a wish nearly everyone has dreamed of at least once—to fly through the sky.
Its long-awaited arrival in Japan delighted many Disney fans.
Some may have felt their hearts race just from the visuals shown in the commercials and the cinematic-style background music.
Incidentally, the music used for the attraction was originally composed by the legendary film composer Jerry Goldsmith and arranged for the Tokyo original version by renowned composer Bruce Broughton.
Someday My Prince Will ComeFrank Churchill

It’s used in the scene where Snow White sings about the one she loves, making it a very romantic piece.
Incidentally, Snow White was Disney’s first feature-length film and the world’s first feature-length color animated movie.
Beauty and The Beast

Walt Disney, the creator of Mickey Mouse and Disneyland, once said, “Disneyland will never be completed.” He continued, “As long as there is imagination left in the world, it will continue to grow.” Walt’s belief seems to embody the very nature of Tokyo Disney Resort, which keeps evolving with the times.
This commercial released in 2019 fully captures the enduring, dreamlike charm of Tokyo Disney Resort.
The music used in the CM is the familiar ‘Beauty and the Beast.’ The arrangement develops from a nostalgic music box introduction into a sound featuring grand strings, evoking the park’s forward-looking spirit—always gazing beyond toward a dream that is never finished.
Make way for Prince AliRobin Williams

This is the song sung in the movie Aladdin when Aladdin heads to the palace.
It includes lines from the Genie of the lamp and is overall a very cheerful piece.
The excitement peaks in the latter half and it concludes with a grand finale.
Oh! Summer, Banzai!Dizunī

One of the charms of Tokyo Disney Resort is not only its romantic and moving events, but also the large-scale spectacles with flashy production that are held regularly.
Many of you probably still vividly remember the excitement of the summer 2019 event, “Donald’s Hot Jungle Summer.” This entertainment, starring the popular character Donald Duck and lighting up midsummer nights, also made headlines for bringing back a stage show in front of Cinderella Castle for the first time in six years.
The program’s song, “Oh! Summer Banzai,” which was also featured in the TV commercial, has been released on CD, so if you’re interested, be sure to check it out.
