Tip-Top EasterDizunī

Held as a spring event since 2014, “Disney’s Easter” delights guests each year with vibrant springtime themes.
At Tokyo DisneySea, the “Fashionable Easter” event featured fun elements like quick costume changes, but in 2019 the theme was completely refreshed with the debut of a new character, Usa Piyo, and the event was presented as “Tip-Top Easter.” Some of you may have been captivated by Usa Piyo’s curious charm as it hopped around so cheerfully in the TV commercial.
By the way, the Usa Piyo song heard in the commercial was performed with Japanese lyrics during the actual event.
That oddly catchy, earworm of a tune is impossible to forget once you’ve heard it.
Joy to the WorldHoyt Axton

This is a Christmas song well-loved in Japan under many Japanese titles, including “Joy to the World,” “Yorokobi no Sekai,” “Tami Mina Yorokobe,” and “Morobito Kozorite.” Because there are so many Japanese titles, there may be fewer people than expected who recognize these as the same song.
It’s a piece that is both calm and dignified, and it conveys a refreshing feeling.
Someday My Prince Will Come
It’s a commercial for Tokyo DisneySea, but its content makes it feel like you’re enjoying a hot spring trip, to the point you might mistake it for announcing a new hot spring–themed attraction.
In fact, as you can tell from the release date, this ad was made for April Fools’ Day 2019.
The way they went all-in on the details is so typical of Tokyo Disney Resort.
The parody-like on-screen captions are amusing too, and Disney fans will surely find themselves laughing.
Naturally, the music has a Japanese-style arrangement, and the choice of “Someday My Prince Will Come” is perfect.
The romantic melody whimsically highlights the nostalgic charm of a retro hot spring—another part of the joke.
The Unbirthday SongMakku Deibiddo, Jerī Ribingusuton, Aru Hofuman

While there is a Happy Birthday song to celebrate birthdays, this is the only song that celebrates an unbirthday.
You can hear it in the tea party scene in Alice in Wonderland with the Hatter (the Mad Hatter), the March Hare, the Dormouse, and Alice.
Twelve Days of ChristmasFurederikku Ōsuchin

In Japan the song is known by the title “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” and it is a Christmas song frequently used at Tokyo Disneyland.
Although its title is less well known than those of other Christmas songs, it can be said to be just as familiar to Japanese listeners as many other tunes.

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-BooAl Hoffman

It’s the famous song used in the scene where Cinderella undergoes a beautiful transformation thanks to the Fairy Godmother’s magic.
Perhaps many people think of this song whenever they think of a transformation.
The cheerful magic words “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo” linger in everyone’s heart and are sure to lift your spirits.
Baroque HoedownPerī & Kingusurei
It’s the familiar tune played during the Electrical Parade, a nighttime parade of lights.
Since the Electrical Parade itself has been running for many years, the music has become well-known, but few people know that the original title of the piece is “Baroque Hoedown.”
