Marble Maze

Let me introduce a marble maze that’s so much fun to roll around.
Get your materials ready: a plastic board, colored construction paper, colored pencils, a ruler, a cutting mat, scissors, double-sided tape, clear tape, a ballpoint pen, and marbles.
Cut the plastic board to create the base shape of the maze.
It’s best to assemble the base by attaching pieces around the edges.
For the maze course, cut the board and adjust the sizes as you build.
Create traps by cutting construction paper and attaching them along the course.
Adding tunnels will make it even more exciting.
Roll your marble and enjoy aiming for the goal!
X gyro

An X-gyro you throw with a wrist snap in a round shape.
This is an idea for making that X-gyro by hand—and it’s unbelievably easy.
All you need are a round cookie cutter from a 100-yen shop and a clear file.
The method is simple: just wrap a strip of clear file cut to 6 cm in width! Since clear files are double-layered, just pay attention to the length and how you fasten it, and you’ll be done in no time.
It also sounds fun to keep records of how far it flies in a wide-open space!
kaleidocycle

A kaleidocycle whose patterns spin and change, pleasing to the eye.
Let’s handcraft a kaleidocycle using empty milk cartons! Open up two milk cartons, draw lines and make mountain folds, then form sleeves and fold the edges inward to create the segments.
Do the same on the other side, and simply secure with tape.
You can attach your favorite designs or draw illustrations on it, too! It’s a simple build that will astonish anyone who sees it, so take advantage of the summer break and give it a try.
Flower Hand-cranked Spinning Top

Let’s make a hand-spun top that you spin vigorously with your hand, designed with a cute, flower-inspired look.
We’ll use a disposable chopstick as the top’s axle, and wrap long, folded strips of paper around it to form the shape of the top.
Everyone should clearly imagine their favorite flower and think about which colors of paper will best match that flower.
Wrapping the paper tightly is the key to making the whole piece sturdy and ensuring it spins well.
An hourglass made of straws
@silk_haru3mama Summer vacation craft 🌻 It's fun—when you flip it over like an hourglass, the straws flow down! ⌛️#Summer VacationSummer Vacation Craft#AtHomePlay#HandmadeToysworkEducational toy#craft

Let’s make a toy where short straws fall like an hourglass.
First, cut a wire to 40 cm and wrap it around a pencil to make a spring.
Prepare two small paper cups and make a hole in the center of each bottom; thread one cup onto one end of the spring and secure it.
Stretch the spring and thread short, cut pieces of straw onto it.
Then thread and secure the other paper cup on the opposite end.
To prevent the spring from expanding and contracting, bridge two chopsticks between the two cups and glue them in place, and you’re done! Decorate the paper cups and chopsticks with masking tape or stickers to make it cute.
