Chilled Summer Desserts (1–10)
Melon cream soda

Melon cream soda is loved by people of all ages.
Many of you probably enjoyed it at restaurants when you were kids.
How about making it as a snack-time activity? It might even bring back some nostalgic feelings.
The process has just the right level of complexity, so even those who enjoy making sweets should feel satisfied.
Try decorating it with a cherry if you like, and have fun with it.
Using a retro-style glass would also help set the mood.
Chilled Summer Desserts (11–20)
White peach sorbet

How about a July-perfect dessert: White Peach Sorbet? Peaches are in season in July, so you can enjoy the taste of the season as you make it! This time, we’re sharing a recipe using products from Ryo-Shoku Service Co., Ltd.
Put Motto Motto Calcium Peach in a bowl, add sugar, white peach, and lemon juice, and mix well.
Then add Neo Haitromiel Slim, stir thoroughly for at least one minute, transfer to a freezer bag, and freeze.
Once frozen, knead the bag by hand to turn it into a sorbet texture.
Serve in a dish and it’s ready.
This chilled, gently sweet white peach sorbet is an easy-to-eat treat even in the summer.
Super easy! Refreshing peach mousse

How about a super-easy peach mousse that you just mix and chill? This menu features peaches at their peak in July, making it perfect for a fun homemade treat—and the sweet aroma of peaches is sure to soothe your soul.
Score the peach all the way around with a knife and twist to split it into two; the pit will come out cleanly as you rotate.
Cut into eight wedges, peel, and dice into bite-size pieces.
To prevent browning, drizzle with lemon juice.
Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
Blend the peaches with egg yolks, milk, and sugar in a blender.
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar until it forms stiff peaks, then add the blended mixture and the gelatin.
Mix thoroughly, pour into molds, and refrigerate until set.
Done!
watermelon jelly

When you think of summer fruits for hot days, many people think of watermelon.
Let’s try making a jelly using watermelon! It looks just like the real thing, so older adults are sure to love it too.
Make the rind jelly with agar, granulated sugar, water, and melon-flavored shaved ice syrup.
Use a chocolate pen to draw seed patterns inside a container, pour in the jelly, and refrigerate.
Next, make the white part of the rind the same way, pour it into the container, and let it set.
Finally, blend watermelon into a juice and combine it with agar and granulated sugar to make the watermelon jelly.
Pour it into the mold, chill until set, and it’s done.
ice cream

Doesn’t homemade ice cream seem difficult and high-bar because it sounds like a lot of work? Here’s a simple method: just three ingredients—heavy cream, eggs, and sugar—mixed in order, then chilled in the freezer until set.
You don’t even need the extra step of taking it out mid-freeze to stir! You can also mix in seasonal fruits, cookies, nuts, or rum raisins.
Waiting for the ice cream you made yourselves to set might be part of the fun, too.
Blueberry yogurt ice cream

We’d like to introduce a blueberry yogurt ice cream you can make just by kneading a bag.
First, put blueberry jam into a food storage bag.
Think about the texture you want for the final result: if you prefer chunks, leave some pieces; if you prefer a smooth finish, mash the blueberries well.
Add heavy cream and yogurt, then knead and mix thoroughly until the color is uniform.
Squeeze out as much air as possible, seal the bag, and freeze it.
Since it doesn’t require heat and most of the process is simply kneading the bag to mix, it’s easy for anyone to make.
It’s also recommended as a recreation activity in senior care facilities.
watermelon juice

Watermelon is one of the quintessential foods of summer.
But because of its size, it often won’t fit in the fridge, which can be a hassle.
That’s when watermelon juice comes in handy.
All you have to do is scoop out the flesh and blend it.
It’s easy to remember and you can try it right away.
By the way, if you blend it with the seeds, the texture will be a bit gritty.
If that bothers you, it’s a good idea to remove the seeds beforehand.
Also be careful with the parts close to the rind, as they can make the juice gritty too.
