Valentine wreath

Get into the Valentine’s spirit with a handmade craft! Here’s a wreath idea made using heart stamps.

Make the stamp by sticking a heart-shaped sponge sticker onto the cap of a small lactic acid drink bottle.

For the wreath base, cut a circular frame out of construction paper.

Once you’ve prepared pink or red ink or paint, stamp hearts all over the base until it’s filled.

Finish by adding parts for your favorite animal and a ribbon, and you’re done!

The hearts pop out! Let me introduce a three-dimensional origami piece.

It may look difficult to make, but once you score the folds, all that’s left is to collapse it—so kids can try it too! Once your origami paper is ready, fold it in half both ways to make a square and create a cross-shaped crease.

Open the paper back up, then bring the bottom edge up to the center crease and press only the middle with your finger to make a small crease.

Next, align the bottom edge with this new crease and make another small crease the same way.

Repeat this process on the top edge as well.

From here, we’ll move on to collapsing: first, fold the top and bottom edges along the outermost creases.

Don’t fold the entire length—press only at the center—and then fold the paper in half so the creases line up.

At this point, you should see hearts on both sides.

Next, rotate and fold it in half so the hearts sit side by side.

Glue them together so they don’t come apart, and you’re done!

Suncatcher made with masking tape

[Valentine’s Craft] Adorable Heart Sun Catcher! [Nursery/Kindergarten]
Suncatcher made with masking tape

Let’s make a sparkling sun catcher with a Valentine’s twist.

First, cut two heart shapes out of black construction paper.

Cut out a smaller heart from the inside of each to create heart-shaped frames.

Cover one frame with your favorite masking tape, then place the other frame on top and stick them together to finish.

It’s best to apply the masking tape at various angles, leaving small gaps between strips.

Trim any excess tape that extends beyond the frame with scissors.

You can also decorate the frame with sparkly stickers to make it even cuter!

A heart ornament that’s fun to make

Will this boost your child’s concentration!? A heart-shaped objet that’s addictive to make ♥ Perfect for Valentine’s photos! Materials and tools • Flower paper (tissue paper) about 3 cm × 3 cm • Smooth, soft clay 1/4 pack (using DAISO) • For decoration: chenille stems (pipe cleaners) or ribbon • Clear file folder • Clay tool set or a tool you can poke with, like chopsticks that aren’t too sharp What kids can help with ✔ Kneading the paper clay and shaping it ✔ Inserting fabric or flower paper ⚠ Please work carefully to avoid injuries My 4-year-old son loves this series! My 1-year-old daughter could help a bit too, and we enjoyed it together! Once it dries, some tissue paper might come off, so if that bothers you, glue it back on with paste or craft glue after drying 😊 Also, after it dries, if you stick flower paper cut into a heart shape on the back, it’ll look even cuter! ✼••┈┈┈┈┈┈••✼✼••┈┈┈┈┈┈••✼ I want to preserve my kids’ memories in a cute way! I love making things! ✂ I’m a late-20s/early-30s mom with a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old 🙋🏻‍♀️ I’d be so happy if you support me with likes ♥ and follows! ✼••┈┈┈┈┈┈••✼✼••┈┈┈┈┈┈••✼#ParentingMomParenting#100-yen-shop#100-yen shop DIY#diyworkEducationalHandmade

Let’s make a heart ornament using clay and tissue paper.

First, shape the clay into a heart.

If you’re having trouble getting a neat heart, a cookie cutter works great.

Once you have the heart shape, press it slightly to flatten the top, then embed pieces of tissue paper cut into 3 cm × 3 cm squares.

To embed them, lay the tissue paper over the heart and press firmly in the center with a chopstick or similar tool.

After all the tissue paper is embedded, make a hole at the top, thread a string or chenille stem through, and you’re done! This is a perfect idea for a Valentine’s Day craft.

Topping Chocolate Stick

Topping Chocolate Sticks are a simple and cute craft for 3-year-olds to enjoy the Valentine’s mood.

Wrap a straw with chocolate-colored construction paper or origami, then add “toppings” by sticking on pipe cleaners, yarn, and colorful paper pieces to create chocolate sticks that look just like the real thing! Through the actions of sticking and choosing, children use their fingers and develop concentration and a sense of color.

Put them in gift bags to make “presents,” and the fun of making them increases even more! Whether displayed in a room or given as a gift, this sweet and delightful craft is perfect for February.
