[February] Perfect for Valentine’s Day! Cute wall decor ideas (21–30)
[Origami] Candy

On Valentine’s Day, lots of cute sweets like chocolate, cakes, cookies, and candy make an appearance, don’t they? How about some easy-to-make origami candy? You can use your favorite colors like pink or blue, and if you use sparkly pearl paper or marble-patterned origami, the cuteness doubles! It’s also fun to make lots and stick them onto large construction paper or poster board for decorations.
A candy wall decoration that kids love will make everyone feel excited.
[Cardboard and Yarn] Fluffy Heart

Let me introduce a fluffy wall decoration that’s perfect for the cold season! First, cut a heart shape out of cardboard and apply double-sided tape to one side.
The idea is simple: just wrap yarn around it.
If you use thick, soft yarn sold at dollar stores, it will turn into a fluffy decoration both in look and feel! Before you start wrapping, make a loop with the end of the yarn and secure it at the top so you can easily hang it on a hook.
You can also tuck artificial flowers between the yarn to add a Valentine’s vibe!
Perler bead heart ornament

Perler beads, also known as ironing beads, are a hit with kids.
Just saying, “I made this with Perler beads,” is enough to get everyone excited.
You can enjoy a variety of colors, but using soft, fluffy-feeling pastels can stylishly bring out a Valentine’s vibe.
Stacking three layers to create a three-dimensional heart gives it great impact.
If you attach it to cute construction paper or origami as a backing to make it look like a little object, it turns out even more charming!
Rose heart wreath
A heart-shaped rose wreath is perfect for a Valentine’s wall display.
Cut the origami paper into four equal parts for the roses.
Take one piece, fold it into a triangle twice, then fold the tip upward; use a template to trace the shape.
Carefully cut along the traced lines, and when you open the paper, the rose shape will appear.
Make a small vertical slit in one spot, then glue the edges on either side of the slit together to give it a three-dimensional look.
Glue together the parts made from the quartered origami to complete one rose.
For the leaves, stack and cut them together, add folds, and draw or crease the veins for texture.
Finally, arrange and glue the roses and leaves onto a heart base cut from construction paper, balancing the layout as you go, to complete the piece.
[Origami] 3D Heart

When it comes to Valentine’s Day decorations, hearts are often the go-to motif.
Here’s a decoration idea using origami paper.
Draw a picture on origami paper, cut it out with scissors, and make a heart.
That alone is, of course, cute—but let’s add one more touch! Make a small slit at the indented part at the top of the heart, then glue that part together.
This turns the flat heart into a 3D shape, making it even cuter.
It’s a very simple idea, so give it a try!
