February brings Valentine’s Day, a time to share your feelings with someone special.

So this time, we’re introducing an idea for a “Valentine’s Chocolate Wall Decoration.” All you need are heart-shaped construction paper, white stickers, and crayons.

The time spent drawing on the heart-shaped paper is a moment when individual feelings tend to come through.

Some may draw spirals, others may use lots of favorite colors—each heart turns out differently.

Add a white sticker and write the name of the person you want to give it to, and it becomes a one-of-a-kind piece.

The time spent thinking, “Who should I choose?” is heartwarming, and this idea naturally invites Valentine-like exchanges.

Wreath with hearts and ribbons

Here’s an idea for a cute and sweet wall decoration packed with all things adorable.

When you think of classic cute motifs, hearts, ribbons, and flowers probably come to mind.

Let’s try making a handmade wreath using those well-loved heart and ribbon motifs.

Hanging it on a wall or from the ceiling, or decorating a window with it, will look super cute.

Make the wreath base using vines or branches you can find in a park.

Then decorate it freely with your favorite ribbons, hearts, and flowers.

Attach thread or string to the top to hang it, and you’ll have the perfect item for a Valentine’s event.

Threading fluffy yarn is so much fun! Here’s a heart-shaped gift craft that’s perfect for 3-year-olds.

First, cut construction paper or cardstock into a heart shape.

If you draw a large heart, it’s a great chance to practice using scissors.

Next, punch holes along the edge of the heart with a hole punch.

Once the holes are made, thread yarn through any hole you like.

It’s done when you randomly lace colorful, thicker yarn through the holes! A radiating pattern looks cute too.

Thicker yarn is easier to thread, so prepare something your child can handle easily.

Bear, Rabbit, and Cake

On Valentine’s Day, some children might try making sweets with their parents or guardians.

Chocolate, cookies, cake—everything looks so delicious, it’s hard to decide what to make! So how about featuring a cute illustration of animals baking a cake on your February wall display? Here’s an idea: a rabbit and a bear dressed as chefs making a cake filled with fruit and plenty of cream.

It’s so cute that just having it in the room will make you feel happy!

Cake and sheep with lots of hearts

February has Setsubun and Valentine’s Day, and especially Valentine’s has become a fun event where people give chocolates, sweets, and gifts to friends, family, and anyone they like.

Here, we’re introducing wall decorations that pair a fluffy, cute sheep character with sweet and delicious-looking cakes and treats to boost that happy Valentine’s mood even more.

When colorful, charming illustrations spread across the wall, it lifts everyone’s spirits.

Scatter lots of hearts, too, and enjoy the Valentine’s festivities!

Fruit roll cake

Whole cakes in round shapes, and triangular shortcakes—there are so many different kinds of cake, aren’t there? Here we’re introducing decoration ideas for sliced Swiss rolls.

A brown or pink sponge filled with plenty of cream… and inside, delicious-looking fruit! The strawberries topping the roll cake are adorable, too.

If you’re making it for Valentine’s Day, you could use a chocolate-colored sponge and top the cake with kids’ favorite chocolate candies.

Alice in Wonderland

For Valentine’s Day, how about creating a wall display inspired by Alice in Wonderland, a favorite among both children and adults? Featuring a rabbit, hearts, and a girl in a cute dress, Alice in Wonderland is perfect for Valentine’s decorations.

If you want to go the extra mile, we also recommend depicting the tea party from the story.

Arrange Valentine-themed sweets and treats on the table to make the display even more fitting for the occasion.

Try expressing Alice’s world in Valentine colors.
