Become a flowerRyokushokushakai

This is the eighth CD single by the Japanese pop-rock band Ryokuoushoku Shakai, released in December 2023.
It was written as the opening theme for the Nippon TV anime The Apothecary Diaries, and the song’s theme is said to be “a flower blooming in the shade.” Haruko Nagaya, who serves as the band’s vocalist, is a singer known for her bright, powerful high-tone voice with great projection, and her vocal appeal shines through even in this fast-paced, thrilling track.
If you can pull this song off beautifully, you’re sure to become the center of attention! The key points for delivering a strong performance are how crisply you can sing with sharp rhythm and how well you can produce a soaring, powerful high tone.
If you’re confident in your singing, definitely give it a try.
Just be careful not to get thrown off where the rhythm shifts slightly at the end of the chorus.
chantAdo

Ado’s 18th digital-only single, released in September 2023.
It’s a collaboration track with Universal Studios Japan’s Halloween event “Halloween Horror Nights,” serving as the theme song for the dance show “Zombie de Dance,” and has been used since the 2023 edition of the event.
The song is crafted into an EDM number with a strikingly oriental and exotic mood.
Ado is well known for her powerful vocals, and this track showcases the full appeal of her voice.
That said, if you listen closely, you’ll notice she isn’t just belting—she skillfully switches among a variety of vocal tones depending on the song’s sections and phrases, which is wonderful.
Be sure to study the original thoroughly before you try singing it.
If you master it, you’re sure to capture everyone’s attention!
Utakata LullabyAdo

It’s one of the insert songs from the movie ONE PIECE FILM RED and the only rap track! When I first heard “Utakata Lullaby,” I was shocked, like, “Can a human even sing this?” But thinking back, since the song was provided by FAKE TYPE., it all made sense—“So that’s why it’s so rap-heavy!” The songs from ONE PIECE FILM RED are hugely popular, and I’ve done vocal training lessons on them many times! Especially with “Utakata Lullaby,” we went over the lyrics again and again, discussing with students, “This part isn’t sung; this part is.” There’s a lot of super fast rap, and if you listen closely, there are sections where there are lyrics but they aren’t actually sung.
Noticing that helps you lock into the rhythm, making it easier and more fun to sing.
If you gave up because you couldn’t sing it before, give it another try!
the worst communitytuki.

The mystery of keeping her face hidden is part of the appeal of tuki., a singer-songwriter who currently enjoys immense popularity.
Among her songs, this is a standout I recommend, capturing the suffocating feeling of everyday life in strikingly real words.
Though she’s known for a shape-shifting vocal style, this track is characterized by a raw, rough-edged delivery of her frustration with society.
Released in August 2025 amid the growing buzz around her album “15.,” the song lends itself to conveying emotion in a near-speaking tone, making it a great pick when you want to show off cool vocal presence at karaoke with friends.
More than vocal technique, expressive power is essential here, so be sure to study the original carefully and then give it a try.
TAIDADAzutto mayonaka de ii no ni.

The band Zutto Mayonaka de Iinoni, with their catchy musical style, enjoys overwhelming support from young people.
Their songs also go over well at karaoke, so many women probably have some of their tracks in their repertoire.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is TAIDADA.
In the latter part of the chorus, there’s a section where you repeatedly switch between mixed voice and chest voice.
Repeating mixed voice and chest voice is far more challenging than switching between falsetto and chest voice, so women who are confident in their pitch control and vocal strength should definitely give it a try.
Episode XAdo

Ado’s new song “Episode X.” When it comes to Ado’s vocals, her wide range of expression—from raw, emotion-driven singing to delicate delivery—always stands out.
This track truly brings together Ado’s diverse vocal expressions.
The A section has a somewhat calm feel, but the chorus is extremely intense, filled with shouts.
With techniques like shouts, ad-libs, and whisper voice all packed in, women confident in their vocal skills should definitely give it a try.
vivariumAdo

Released on February 18, 2026, this Vocalo-rock track, which she wrote and composed herself, is based on her autobiographical novel “Vivarium: Ado and Me,” out on the 26th of the same month, and it cries out the conflict between self-denial and the search for light.
The live band’s master, Takayoshi “CO-K” Kokei, handled the arrangement, and the first live-action jacket photo is also making waves.
Listening to the song, it feels quite complex.
The tempo is fast, with melodies coming one after another, making breath placement difficult; without being able to take instant breaths, I think it’s hard to sing the whole thing flawlessly.
On top of that, head voice and chest voice alternate repeatedly, so you end up using more breath than you’d expect.
Relax your body and focus on diaphragmatic breathing.
