Mikuriya Festival | Osaka University of CommerceOct 25 (Sat) – 26 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture
The Mikuriya Festival takes its name from Mikuriya Sakae-cho, where the university is located. In addition to stage events and food stalls, there are also performances by popular artists and street performers. This year, there will also be attractions for children, such as a police motorcycle display and a kickbase tournament.

Kusunoki Festival | Osaka Shoin Women's UniversityOct 25 (Sat) – 26 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture
It’s Kusunoki Festival, the school festival of Osaka Shoin Women’s University. In addition to stage events, food stalls, and a talk show with guest speakers, there’s also a slightly unusual beauty pageant called the Hakama Contest.

Ryukoku Festival | Ryukoku University (Seta Campus)Oct 25 (Sat) – 26 (Sun), Shiga Prefecture
This is the school festival at Ryukoku University’s Seta Campus in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture. Every year, there are live performances by bands popular with younger generations and a Miss Campus contest. Sometimes there’s also a programming class for children. If you’re nearby, be sure to stop by!

It’s the Okadayama Festival, the school festival of Kobe College. There are opportunities for students to express different sides of themselves, such as a dance contest and stage performances. The paella from the Cooking Research Club is said to be famous, but it sells out quickly, so if you’re going, get there early.

TOMIGAOKA Festival | Nara Gakuen UniversitySun, 10/19 Nara Prefecture
The Tomigaoka Festival held at Nara Gakuen University is one of the school festivals with high visitor satisfaction, drawing a full house at the ever-popular annual bingo tournament. The Chayamachi Festival held at Osaka Institute of Technology’s Umeda Campus is still a young event that began in 2017. It’s located right in the city area of Umeda Chayamachi, making it easy to access. The festival gets lively with activities such as puzzle-solving events, bingo tournaments, and casino-themed attractions.
