This is the Kyoyaku Festival, the campus festival of Kyoto Pharmaceutical University. Each year, the Kyoyaku Festival recruits student volunteers to perform in bands, dance, and other acts. Clover Festival | Doshisha University (Kyotanabe Campus)Nov 1 (Sat) – 2 (Sun), Kyoto Prefecture

This is a university festival held at Doshisha University’s Kyotanabe Campus. In collaboration with the local community, it is co-hosted with the City of Kyotanabe. With outdoor stage performances and booths and events by various groups, it is just as lively as the EVE Festival held in late November at the Imadegawa Campus.

Fukkitsu Festival | Fukuchiyama Public UniversitySat, Nov 1 — Kyoto Prefecture

Fukkitsu Festival was first held in 2016, the year Fukuchiyama Public University opened. The name “Fukkitsu Festival” combines “kikyo” (balloon flower), the city flower of Fukuchiyama, which appeared frequently among the name suggestions, with the “fuku” from Fukuchiyama. It’s a lively university festival featuring a variety of events and food stalls.

Kamiyama Festival | Kyoto Sangyo UniversitySat 11/1 – Mon 11/3, Kyoto Prefecture

Kyoto Sangyo University is a single-campus comprehensive university standing atop a mountain in Kyoto’s Kita Ward. The campus is very spacious, and the rows of food stalls lining the paths are truly captivating. Every year they host impressive guest bands and comedians! The university’s symbol is the constellation Sagittarius, and amazingly, there’s even an observatory on campus. During the school festival, they hold events using the observatory, so be sure to check it out!
