EVE is an event held once a year to celebrate Doshisha University’s Founding Day. EVE is guided by the principles of “student self-governance and self-management” and serving as “a venue for the expression of group activities.” No matter how similar EVE may seem to a school festival, as long as it is run by students in accordance with these principles, EVE is not a school festival but an event that celebrates the founding of Doshisha University.

Kinugasa Festival | Ritsumeikan University (Kinugasa Campus (KIC))Sun, Nov 23 – Kyoto Prefecture

At KIC, where there are many cultural organizations studying traditional Japanese performing arts, we hold a festival befitting Kyoto’s 1,200-plus years of history. November Festival | Kyoto UniversityNov 21 (Fri) – 24 (Mon), Kyoto Prefecture

Commonly known as the NF, it is held over four days in late November at Kyoto University’s Yoshida Campus. In the plaza in front of the Seibu Auditorium, where the atmosphere remains just as it was back in the day, student club bands perform live. It’s a large-scale university festival that also features live shows and performances by clubs in various classrooms, as well as a variety of food and activity stalls.
