Easy Slime

You can easily make slime that feels as soft as marshmallows! All you need is water, warm water, liquid laundry glue, boric acid, shaving foam, a spoon, and a bowl.

First, dissolve the boric acid in warm water.

Mix equal parts water and liquid laundry glue, then add the shaving foam.

Once it’s well combined, gradually add the boric acid solution you prepared.

PET-bottle air cannon

Simple “Plastic Bottle Air Cannon” How to Make It [Handmade Toy / Craft]
PET-bottle air cannon

Let’s make a cool air cannon with a plastic bottle! You’ll need a plastic bottle, a toilet paper roll, a balloon, vinyl tape, a utility knife, and scissors.

Cut off the bottom of the plastic bottle.

The cut edge is dangerous, so be sure to cover it with vinyl tape.

Attach a balloon that has been cut in half to the cut end.

Then cut one end of the toilet paper roll into strips like octopus legs, spread them out, and tape the roll onto the bottle.

After that, decorate with vinyl tape in your favorite colors, and add a scope if you like! With the bottle cap removed, pull the balloon and—boom!—a burst of air shoots out!

Eraser fidget spinner

[Won't get caught at school?!] I tried making a MONO eraser fidget spinner lol [#FidgetSpinner]
Eraser fidget spinner

A palm-sized toy that gained popularity in the United States is the hand spinner.

It’s a toy you play with by spinning the plate section using your hand or fingers, and there were even cases where it was banned at schools because kids got so obsessed with it.

Let’s try making one using an eraser! At a glance it looks just like a regular eraser, so you might even be able to bring it to school without anyone noticing.

All you have to do is cut a circular hole in the center of the eraser and embed a hand spinner bearing.

It looks cool when it spins, so make it together with your kids and have a blast!

Aquabeads

Aquabeads are easy and fun: just place the small beads on a tray and stick them together with water.

Kids can focus on their own, creating all kinds of shapes and colors at their own pace.

Using their fingertips improves fine motor skills, and thinking about what design to make really expands their imagination.

Plus, there’s no glue or ironing, so cleanup is quick and easy! It’s also great because kids can feel a sense of accomplishment by completing projects on their own.

Once they get used to it, they can even make 3D creations—give it a try!

Let me introduce a square bag made with fluffy yarn.

We’ll use clear bag parts sold at 100-yen shops.

The bag parts will serve as the bottom of the bag.

Because they’re transparent, even though we use yarn, the bag still feels cool and airy.

Cut craft mesh, then stitch yarn onto the mesh with a needle so the yarn catches on the grid.

Connect the bag parts and the yarn-stitched mesh together with yarn.

For the handles, use chenille stems (pipe cleaners).

Adding pearls to the stems makes it even cuter.

Finish by attaching ruffles to the edge of the bag with double-sided tape.

It’s a breezy, lovely bag that both adults and kids will want to carry.

My First Fake Sweets

Let me introduce some super cute-looking fake sweets.

These days, you can find all kinds of candy-themed items at 100-yen shops, so it’s easy to enjoy.

How about decorating your favorite shaped motifs with whipped cream for sweets deco and adding dragees? You don’t even have to make the motifs yourself to have fun, so it’s perfect for your first fake-sweets project! Thinking about colors and shapes and handling tiny parts helps develop fine motor skills and boosts concentration.

You’ll nurture many abilities while having fun making them, so give it a try!
