So! We’ve selected recommended tracks specifically for men with deep voices.
We also considered how well these songs go over at karaoke, so if you’re planning to go with a group soon, be sure to check them out.

Recommended karaoke songs for men with low voices and those good at bass (171–180)
Let’s dance at homeHoshino Gen

This song by Gen Hoshino wasn’t initially released as an official recording; it first appeared as an acoustic self-performed version on his Instagram.
Musicians who resonated with the piece later joined in to create the version we’re introducing here: “Uchi de Odorou (Potluck Mix).” The track is built on a very simple structure, with the same melody repeated and centered around Hoshino’s appealing low register, so it’s a song I especially recommend for low-voiced male singers to enjoy performing.
Don’t overthink it—just embrace the simplicity and have fun!
mysteryHoshino Gen

It was released as a digital-only single by Gen Hoshino on April 27, 2021.
It was later released on CD as his 12th single overall.
The song was written specifically as the theme for the drama “Dress-Up Love Has Its Reasons.” In this track, Hoshino showcases not only low-pitched lines but an impressive performance that skillfully weaves in mixed voice and falsetto.
To sing it at karaoke, you’ll likely need to have mastered these vocal techniques; however, if your natural low voice is appealing, it will make the contrast with the high tones in the song even more striking and help you stand out.
It’s a somewhat challenging choice, but it’s a song I highly recommend to those who feel confident.
HouyouKawaharada Shinichi

This is the fifth single overall from actor Shinichi Kawaharada, who appeared in the hugely popular Showa-era dramas “3-nen B-gumi Kinpachi-sensei” and “2-nen B-gumi Senpachi-sensei,” released on December 24, 2021.
In fact, I produced this track! During production, I arranged and directed the vocals with the utmost focus on conveying the charm of Mr.
Kawaharada’s gentle, refreshing voice to listeners.
Because of that, the vocal melody doesn’t rely on extreme high notes, so even those who aren’t confident with high pitches should be able to sing and enjoy it.
I hope you’ll sing it gently and carefully, without forcing it, and have a great time.
Pop VirusHoshino Gen

A track from Gen Hoshino’s fifth album, “Pop Virus,” released in December 2018.
Some of you might be thinking, “Is Gen Hoshino really known for a low voice?” The thing is, if you listen closely, you’ll notice the melodies and arrangements are crafted to make his vocal timbre sound its best.
That’s why many people don’t realize it, but if you carefully follow the melody, you’ll find the key isn’t actually that high, making it quite singable for lower-voiced men.
For those low-voice guys lamenting, “All recent songs are too high and there’s nothing I can sing!!”, this might be the perfect pick.
cherry blossomKobukuro

Kobukuro’s 12th single, released in November 2005.
Since the song starts right off with a high falsetto, many might think, “What part of this is low?” But the low-register harmonies you can hear in the 1-A section are quite the ‘ikebo’ (handsome-sounding voice).
The main part often requires relatively high notes, but men who are good at low notes might enjoy singing it in harmony with a friend who’s good at high notes.
Of course, tackling the main part yourself is also an option! If you can produce a solid low voice, adjusting the key should let you sing it really nicely.

peanut butterAratani Shota

Shota Araya is a singer-songwriter whose originality-rich musical style—mixing Black music with contemporary J-POP—has earned him widespread popularity.
While he drew attention as the former vocalist of a popular band, his activities have prioritized music over popularity, and he has produced several notable songs.
Among his tracks, the one I especially recommend for men with lower voices is Peanut Butter.
Although it has an R&B vibe, the vocal line is fairly steady and understated, and the song is arranged throughout in the low to low-mid range.
Romantic Flightkome kome CLUB

Released in April 1990, this is Kome Kome Club’s 10th single.
The song’s vocalist, Carl Smoky Ishii, has a captivatingly rich low register, making this an ideal karaoke pick for men with naturally low voices or those confident in their bass range.
While you might relax knowing there aren’t any extreme high notes, be aware that some “moderately high” notes appear in the latter half of the chorus.
If that’s tough, try lowering the key.
It’s a song that really lets you showcase the charm of your low voice to the fullest!
