Come on, babyOkamura Kazuyoshi

Okamura-Kazuyoshi is a unit formed by Kazuyoshi Saito and Yasuyuki Okamura.
Their songs brilliantly fuse Saito’s rock with Okamura’s genre-defying musicality, earning high praise from devoted music fans.
Their new track is Come On Baby.
The piece is filled with stylistic nods to Prince, whom Yasuyuki Okamura greatly respects.
With few long sustained notes and a relatively modest vocal range, it’s quite singable—but be sure to lock into the groove.
spring hazeneko wa ekitai

A four-piece rock band from Kyoto, Neko wa Ekitai (Cats Are Liquid).
Centered on orthodox Japanese rock, their work has been drawing attention in the scene.
Among their tracks, the one I especially recommend is Harugasumi (Spring Haze).
Most of this song sits in the low to mid range.
If you adjust the key, you can really bring out the richness and warmth of a male voice.
Be sure to add it to your repertoire.
sunrise glowSaitō Kazuyoshi

This is Kazuyoshi Saito’s 15th digital-only single, released on October 1, 2021.
It was also chosen as the theme song for the film “Riku wa Yowakunai.” I think it’s a captivating track with a tempo and vocal delivery that exude a strong masculine vibe.
The vocal melody doesn’t span a very wide range, so even people who don’t usually sing much might find it easy to sing.
Rather than worrying about the finer details, focusing on recreating the song’s overall atmosphere is the key to making it sound good!
Mr. Moonlightimase

This is the song used as the opening theme for the TV anime “Hotel Inhumans,” released on July 11, 2025.
It has a bit of a brisk tempo, so be sure to remember to take breaths between phrases.
Taking breaths will also help you lock into the rhythm of the song! In the chorus, there are lots of switches between chest voice and falsetto, so aim to sing without straining.
When you lift your facial muscles, your eyebrows will probably lift on their own—how about you? That expression is actually important: with a blank face, you’ll never hit the right pitch, and it becomes harder to produce high notes or falsetto.
Raising your facial muscles also makes switching between chest and falsetto much easier, so try singing with the image of lifting your facial muscles and resonating from the top of your head!
YBOMNOA

NOA is a singer-songwriter who enjoys overwhelming popularity among young people for his K-POP-influenced musicality and striking looks.
Although many of his songs are quite challenging, “YBOM” is easy to sing even for those who aren’t confident in their vocals.
The biggest point of this track is that there are very few long sustained notes.
It’s not hardcore rap, but most of the song features melodious, rap-like passages, making it comfortable even for people who struggle with breathing.
On top of that, the vocal range is fairly narrow, so even those who can’t hit high notes should be able to sing it without difficulty.
planetariumTRACK15

TRACK15 is a young band gaining attention in the Japanese rock scene.
Their refreshing sound is reminiscent of early ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.
Their new song, Planetarium, carries a classic Japanese rock vibe that’s been around for years.
It’s a high-energy track, but interestingly, there aren’t any shouty sections, so it’s actually easier to sing than it sounds.
The key is a bit high, so lowering it at the start is recommended.
RhythmistZZ

They’re a male-vocal mixture rock band that suddenly burst onto the rock scene.
The quality of their major debut album is exceptional, highly regarded within the industry, and continues to be supported by later generations.
Sing along with the rhythm and momentum.
