Spring Music Festival Schedule Overview [2026]

The Early Spring Song Music Festival is a music event hosted by Azumino City and the Soshunfu Aishokai, held at the Horigane–Hotaka area of the National Alps Azumino Park in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture. With the concept of letting voices resonate from the place connected to the song “Soshunfu” (Early Spring), and set against the rich nature at the foot of the Northern Alps, the festival features an open-call stage and a free music plaza that welcome performers regardless of professional or amateur status. Cherished as a participatory music festival created together with attendees, it will mark its 22nd edition in May 2026.

Shoshin Shomei is a circuit event organized by the Hamamatsu live project eyedentity. Held multiple times to date, it takes place across four venues around Itayamachi near Hamamatsu Station—Hamamatsu Madowaku, Hamamatsu FORCE, G-SIDE, and TEHOM—featuring a lineup centered on indie bands active nationwide. Championing an on-the-ground ethos, its appeal lies in a robust bill where emerging and mid-career acts intermingle. The 2026 edition will be held on May 10.

The Mie Blues Festival is a free-admission music event held at Oto no Mori Campground in Yokkaichi City. With the slogan “LOVE & PEACE,” it’s presented as a heartwarming, happy music festival. Musicians from a wide range of genres—not limited to blues but also rock, R&B, jazz, and pop—gather to perform, and more than 20 vendors offer food, drinks, and goods. There will also be an exhibition of classic domestic vintage cars and American classic cars. The event is scheduled for May 2026.

Enmachi Music Street is an urban festival that began in 2025 with the aim of energizing Enmachi in Kyoto’s Nishinokyo area and nurturing the music culture budding in the community. With the slogan “On that day, Enmachi becomes a town of sound!”, attendees can wander between venues throughout the city—such as shops and restaurants—and enjoy a wide variety of stages all day long. For its second edition in May 2026, the number of venues will expand to 13, and the program will grow to include expressions beyond music, such as theater incorporating live performance and belly dance.

This is a music and dance event held at the Michi-no-Eki Kita-Harima Eco Museum in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, with the theme “Spring Breezes from Nishiwaki.” Co-hosted with the roadside station’s “Succulent and More Market,” the lawn plaza will feature a mini market and a mini stage. With a concept of enjoying Zumba, dance, and music, the event will bring together dance stages by local children, workshops, and food trucks. It will be held in May 2026.
