Summer Music Festival Held in Eastern Japan [2026]

NIIGATA MUSIC PARK is an open-air music event held at Toyano Lagoon Sports Park in Niigata City. Produced by a team rooted in Niigata Prefecture’s music scene, it operates under the theme of connecting the city through music. Alongside the music stage, local activities are held at the venue, positioning it as an outdoor, family-friendly local event. The 2026 edition is announced for June 21.

“PYRAMID GARDEN -Beyond the Festival-” is an open-air festival held in Naeba, spun off from Fuji Rock’s popular campsite area. Officially billed as “two days to experience the nature and culture of Yuzawa/Naeba,” it offers not only live music but also sensory-rich activities like yoga, sauna, horseback riding, and disc golf. In a soothing space where nature and music harmonize, a new festival experience that connects with the local community unfolds. Scheduled for July 2026.

Honmachi Machinaka Fest 2026 is a music and performing arts event hosted by the Honmachi Machinaka Fest Executive Committee at Chuo Machikado Park in Shimoyoshida, Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture. With support from the Fuji Five Lakes Acoustic Guitar Club, a wide variety of performances and dances will be showcased, including guitar-and-vocal sets, Japanese taiko drumming, Edo-gei Kappore, Yosakoi, and community sing-alongs. Embracing the warm, friendly spirit of Shimoyoshida, the festival will be held multiple times from May to October 2026.
