Megane no Prince is an eyewear retailer still operating in Hokkaido today, and it’s a familiar name for anyone from the region.

In the ads, Oizumi plays a store clerk, striking poses as he switches through pairs of glasses one after another—a humorous setup.

The commercial wraps up with a playful tagline that riffs on the popular variety show he stars in, ‘How Do You Like Wednesday?,’ saying, “There’s only Megapri, right?”
