The track used in Starbucks’ TV commercial “A Year of Good.” It was released in 2014 by the British singer Sam Smith.
James Napier, who has worked on tracks for artists like Clean Bandit, was involved in the production, and it was inspired by Tom Petty’s 1989 track “I Won’t Back Down.”
StarHoshino Gen

This is a commercial in which Gen Hoshino introduces two types of Wonda.
There’s the “New Wonda Clear Black” version, which emphasizes that it’s perfect for starting your day, and the “New Wonda Royal Latte” version, recommended for the afternoon.
Gen Hoshino appears in both, highlighting each drink’s distinct flavor.

Gently Singing ~Killing Me Softly with His Song~Watanabe Misato

The Nescafé Excella commercial that aired in 2003 features a cover of “Killing Me Softly with His Song,” originally sung by Lori Lieberman in 1971.
Known in Japan by the title “Yasashiku Utatte,” the version used in this commercial is Misato Watanabe’s 2002 cover.
It’s an excellent rendition that incorporates a contemporary sound while faithfully preserving the mellow, elegant atmosphere of the original.
William Tell OvertureGioachino Rossini

An overture composed by Gioachino Rossini for the opera William Tell.
It features the sound of the alto oboe, the cor anglais.
It was used in Starbucks Blonde Espresso’s TV commercial “Now Serving: Subtly Sweet & Smooth.”
StrongerKanye West

The track used in Nescafe Dolce Gusto’s stylish commercial, “Drop Coffee Machine.” Released in 2007 by American rapper Kanye West, it has been certified Platinum in five countries.
The music video, directed by Hype Williams, was inspired by the Japanese animated film Akira.
