List of Rock Festivals Nationwide [2026]

A circuit-style music event held across four live venues: Shimokitazawa GARDEN, Shimokitazawa Daisy Bar, Shimokitazawa SHELTER, and Shimokitazawa CLUB Que. As it’s an event hosted by up-and-coming bands popular with young people, it may well become an event that represents the future of the rock scene.

An event hosted by Buzz Rhythm, the music program broadcast on Nippon TV, will be held at Yokohama Arena. Buzz Rhythm is a popular show featuring well-known bands and artists from the current Japanese rock scene. With a lineup full of fan favorites, this event is highly recommended for lovers of Japanese rock.

This is a circuit-style festival held at live music venues in Kobe, hosted by Arukara, a four-piece rock band from Kobe. Around 60 artists are scheduled to perform each year. You won’t want to take your eyes off Neko Fes, which has finally established itself as a staple circuit festival in the Kansai region.

Borofesta is held at Kyoto KBS Hall—whose stained glass behind the stage is truly striking—and at the live music venue METRO. Organized entirely as a D.I.Y. festival by an executive committee made up of people working in music, such as live house staff and band members, along with many volunteer staff, Borofesta offers a wealth of perspectives unique to a D.I.Y. festival and enjoyment you won’t find at other events.

This is a spin-off event of SATANIC CARNIVAL, hosted by PIZZA OF DEATH led by Ken Yokoyama, the guitarist of the legendary three-piece punk band Hi-STANDARD. With talented young bands and up-and-coming artists set to perform, the energy at the venue is expected to rival that of SATANIC CARNIVAL. It’s highly recommended for anyone who wants to get lost in music while cheering on the future of bands poised to break out from here!
