It’s a song featuring original characters in action, set to lyrics that incorporate place names from Shizuoka.

It became such a hit that it was even released on record within the prefecture.

Accompanied by the upbeat rhythms characteristic of Showa-era pop, it showcases the soaring vocals of Fusako Fujimoto.

When you think of Shizuoka Prefecture, it’s famous for tea, with many different manufacturers throughout the region.

Among them, Ichikawaen Tea has become well loved, thanks in part to its commercials.

This video includes the catchphrase that Ichikawaen is known for—“Gokkun! Oishii Ichikawaen” (“Gulp! Delicious Ichikawaen”).
