Easter garland

Let’s make the venue festive for the Easter event! Here are some ideas for Easter garlands made with construction paper.
Prepare construction paper in your favorite colors, decorative materials like stickers and washi tape, jute twine, a pencil, a ruler, double-sided tape or tape glue, scissors, and a hole punch.
Cut the construction paper into egg shapes and decorate them however you like! Using sparkly materials and patterned washi tape will make the finish even more vibrant.
Skeleton Sakura
I’ll show you how to make beautiful, translucent skeleton cherry blossoms.
First, fold and cut origami paper to create a cherry blossom–shaped frame.
Next, trace the cherry blossom shape onto a clear plastic sheet and stick on small pieces of transparent origami.
Finally, layer the frame over the clear sheet and trim the excess with scissors to finish.
Hang them by a window or from the ceiling, and you’ll get colorful light shining through.
If you’re looking for a stylish and cute craft, be sure to give this a try.
Hanging decorations of the Sakura Dome
Introducing a hanging Sakura dome decoration, perfect for spring with its gently swaying pink hues.
Prepare a dome-shaped paper plate, tissue paper, curling ribbon, ribbon for hanging, origami paper, glue, and tape.
Glue torn pieces of tissue paper onto the paper plate, making sure there are no gaps.
Cut the curling ribbon and attach the strips to the inside of the paper plate, leaving small spaces between them.
Punch a hole in the center of the plate and thread the hanging ribbon through it.
Cut sakura shapes out of origami paper and stick them onto the front of the plate.
Your soft, spring-like hanging decoration is complete!
fabric garland

Reusable and delightful! Here’s an idea for making a fabric garland.
You’ll need a 30 cm-long piece of fabric, yarn or jute twine, and scissors.
You can use leftover fabric from home or school, too! First, cut the fabric into long strips about 2 cm wide.
Next, take three of the cut strips and tie them onto the yarn or jute twine.
Finally, trim the length and snip off any loose threads, and you’re done.
This is a great idea when you want to make a cute garland with a natural vibe!
Spring flag garland

Let’s stylishly decorate your windows and walls! Here are some ideas for spring flag garlands.
You’ll need origami or construction paper in your favorite colors and patterns, scissors, double-sided tape, twine, and a pencil.
First, fold the paper in half and sketch a triangle.
Next, keeping one side connected, cut along the other sides with scissors to make your pieces.
Finally, sandwich the twine between the paper and stick it down to finish! Even with the same method, changing the colors and patterns of the flags will give a different vibe, so it’s highly recommended.
Milk carton mobile

Fun to make, and fun to hang from the ceiling and enjoy! Here are some ideas for making a mobile out of milk cartons.
You’ll need three milk cartons, a 14 cm bamboo skewer or wire, thread, acrylic paint, and craft glue.
In this idea, the collaboration of the moon with a cat and fish makes for an amusing design! You can freely adapt it to suit the design you want to create—whether a cute or cool vibe, animals, or your favorite motifs—so feel free to use this as a reference.

3D sakura mobile

This is a mobile featuring cherry blossoms with a three-dimensional, beautiful silhouette.
The materials are pink tissue paper and—believe it or not—toilet paper.
First, fold the toilet paper into a cherry petal shape and slice it into rings.
Next, refine each piece and make a hole with a needle.
Then glue the petal-shaped forms onto the pink tissue paper and cut along the outline.
Thread both the five-petal cherry blossoms and the individual petals, and you’re done.
You’d never guess it’s made from scrap materials—the elegance and cuteness really stand out!
