Seon Shengxi is a Korean singer born in 1990.

She came into the spotlight after appearing on the popular Taiwanese audition program Chinese Million Star.

With a voice that suits a wide range of genres including R&B, pop, and ballads, she delivers performances that closely reflect the world of each song.

Her 2019 album, Shi’s Journey, won the Golden Melody Award for Best Mandarin Album, cementing her status as a household-name singer.

She’s an artist to watch, having also performed theme songs for popular films and TV dramas in Taiwan.

Ouyang Fei Fei, famous in Japan for numerous hits like “Love Is Over,” is a Taiwanese-born singer.

She debuted in 1971 with “Ame no Midosuji,” and the following year, in 1972, became the first foreign artist to appear on the NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen.

Her emotionally rich and powerful vocals are captivating.

She has continued to be active in recent years across Taiwan and other Asian countries, including by covering many kayōkyoku (Japanese popular songs).

Like professional baseball legend Sadaharu Oh, she has received Taiwan’s National Honor Award, and she stands alongside Teresa Teng as one of Asia’s premier divas.

In Taiwan, Guangliang (Michael Wong) is popularly known as the “Prince of Love Songs,” written as 情歌王子.

This is the theme song for the TV drama adaptation of the famous Taiwanese story Turn Left, Turn Right, which was also made into a film starring Takeshi Kaneshiro.

The song delivers a gentle yet powerful message to a loved one: “No matter the hardships, I will overcome them and surely reach the place where you are waiting.”

The ethereal tone of the song and Vivian’s vocals are a perfect match.

He is a male singer from Taiwan, known for catchphrases like “Singing Angel” and “Miracle Tearful Voice,” and sometimes called the Taiwanese Susan Boyle.

As a countertenor, he became very famous in Japan after appearing on variety shows.

His remarkably soaring high notes have moved many people around the world.

Teresa is a singer and actress from Hsinchu, Taiwan.

Known for her outstanding figure, she’s sometimes called “10-heads-tall Teresa,” and she’s a multilingual talent who speaks Japanese, Mandarin, English, Taiwanese, and Hakka.

She began her activities in Japan in 2019, including covering Yo Hitoto’s Hanamizuki.

Influenced by her parents, she’s familiar with J-pop and says the first song she listened to by Hikaru Utada was First Love.

Her “angel voice,” praised for its clarity and soothing feel, is truly wonderful!
