The development of schools and welfare facilities

Lottery Social Contribution 2018: “Improvement of Schools and Welfare Facilities” 30-second Version

The commercial that aired starting in August 2018 features Ku-chan, the official mascot of the lottery.

The setting is a school, with a storyline in which Ku-chan comes to visit.

Part of the lottery’s proceeds are used for initiatives like making schools more accessible, and the commercial highlights this.

In the latter half of the ad, actor Jun Kaname appears from inside Ku-chan, so be sure to watch until the end.

This is the Lottery Loto series commercial “New Loto-motachi” that has been airing since October 2018.

Shingo Katori, Goro Inagaki, and Tsuyoshi Kusanagi from Atarashii Chizu appear alongside popular model Elaiza Ikeda.

Elaiza Ikeda wears a shirt that says “103,” representing her name in numbers, and Goro Inagaki and Tsuyoshi Kusanagi are reluctant to become her Loto-motachi (Loto buddies).

After some back-and-forth, she’s recognized as a Loto buddy, and the addition of a young woman to the three middle-aged men makes things more glamorous.

Summer Jumbo Lottery: “Big-Bro Jumbo—Group Purchase” VersionSatoshi Tsumabuki, Riho Yoshioka, Ryo Narita, Yuma Yamoto

Jumbo Lottery “Big Bro Jumbo: Group Purchase” Version (On Sale Now!) (30 seconds)

This is the 2021 Summer Jumbo Lottery commercial, “Jumbo Big Bro: Group Purchase.” In it, Jumbo Big Bro explains that you can buy lottery tickets as a group by pooling together.

But Yuma Yamoto pipes up, “If we win 700 million yen, it won’t divide evenly among five people!” Hearing that, the siblings scream as if it’s the end of the world… Then the youngest sister, Mio Imada—always calm—deadpans in a monotone, “Actually, it does divide,” but the other siblings refuse to listen.

It’s a high-energy, laugh-out-loud commercial as always.

Summer Jumbo Lottery: ‘Jumbo Big Brother – The Eldest Son’s Affair’ VersionSatoshi Tsumabuki, Riho Yoshioka, Ryo Narita, Yuma Yamoto

Jumbo Lottery “Big Bro Jumbo: The Eldest Son’s Affair” Version (On Sale Now!) (30 seconds)

This commercial starts with a close-up of Riho Yoshioka looking adorable even when she’s angry.

It’s the Jumbo Lottery spot “Jumbo Big Brother: The Eldest Son’s Cheating” that opens abruptly with, “Big bro, you’ve been cheating, haven’t you?” The mood feels serious, but if you listen closely, the “cheating” isn’t about a relationship—it’s that he bought lottery tickets at a different booth instead of his usual one.

Apparently, many big lottery winners keep buying at the same booth and that’s how they win.

Riho Yoshioka tearfully pleads this point, and Jumbo Big Brother sees the error of his ways.

The cold stares from the other siblings watching are hilariously funny.

Jumbo Lottery: “Big Brother Jumbo — Jumbo Anthem” EditionMio Imada, Riho Yoshioka, Satoshi Tsumabuki, Ryo Narita, Yuma Yamoto

Jumbo Lottery: “Big Brother Jumbo – Jumbo Anthem” version (until Friday!) (30 seconds)

This is the lottery commercial titled “Jumbo Big Brother: Jumbo Anthem,” featuring Satoshi Tsumabuki as the eldest son, “Jumbo Big Brother.” The usual family sings an original Jumbo Lottery song set to the first movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No.

7.

It’s a refreshing tune that conveys the greatness of the Year-End Jumbo Lottery and makes your dreams feel like they’re expanding (lol).

You can really feel their extraordinary enthusiasm from the fact that everyone’s gathered together first thing in the morning.

Rather than a straightforward recommendation, it’s a commercial that makes you want to buy lottery tickets—it really stokes the desire to purchase!

NUMBERS ‘Slump’ EditionGoro Inagaki, Yuki Yamada, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi

Numbers – Slump Version – 30 seconds

This is the Numbers lottery commercial, “Slump,” featuring Goro Inagaki and Yuki Yamada.

Inagaki plays a manga artist seemingly in a slump, while his assistants watch as he sits deep in thought.

When they hear him mutter things like “confession…,” they get excited, thinking, “Is the heroine going to confess?” But as they listen more closely, they realize, “Wait, he’s thinking about Numbers…?” As Inagaki walks through town, he says out loud mnemonic wordplays based on whatever catches his eye.

Seeing this, Yamada can’t help calling out again, “C’mon, guess my manga!”—creating an indescribably awkward, offbeat mood for the ad.

Numbers: Manga Artist ArcGoro Inagaki, Yuki Yamada, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi

Numbers – Manga Artist Version – 30 Seconds

This is a commercial for Numbers, the lottery where you pick your own digits, called the “Manga Artist” edition.

The manga artist is Goro Inagaki, and there are three assistants.

One of them—the one getting criticized—is Yuki Yamada.

An assistant spots a Numbers playslip under a manga manuscript and asks, “What’s this?” Inagaki, clearly flustered, hides it and says, “Reference material.” Rumor has it he thinks about it every day and buys tickets every day, prompting someone to let slip, “Hey, focus on the manga, will you?” And once you’ve heard that, even his pensive expression looks like he’s just thinking about Numbers, doesn’t it?
