Lotto 6: Let’s Become Numbers! Version, 30 seconds

This is the Lotto 6 lottery commercial titled “Let’s Become Numbers!” featuring Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Goro Inagaki, and Shingo Katori.

Each of them wears outfits—shirts—that turn their names into numbers, and the three try to express numbers using their bodies.

Inagaki kicks things off, a bit out of character and more hyped than usual, saying, “It’s time for the Let’s Become Numbers segment!” He starts with 1, lying down—but of course it doesn’t end there.

They go on to form numbers related to Lotto 6.

It looks simple, but it’s actually hard.

The commercial shows the trio in a loose, behind-the-scenes style.

Tomokazu Miura plays the mysterious old man, and Masataka Kubota plays the young man who gets dragged around by him.

In a supermarket, Miura’s hippie-style hairdo, as he tosses a banana into the young man’s shopping basket and says “700 million yen,” provides a good laugh.

BIG “Mysterious Old Man Appears” VersionMasataka Kubota, Kazuyoshi Miura

Tomokazu Miura and Masataka Kubota: Spotlight on the “miracle scene” in the new Sports Lottery BIG TV commercial, “The Mysterious Old Man Appears,” and its making-of footage

This is the “Mysterious Old Man Appears” commercial for the sports lottery BIG by the Japan Sport Council, which has been airing since April 2018.

Masataka Kubota is sitting on a park bench and tosses an empty can into a trash bin, when Tomokazu Miura, playing the role of a mysterious old man, runs over and persistently urges him, “Isn’t now the time?” Confused, Kubota keeps asking, “The time for what?” Their back-and-forth banter is comical.

BINGO5: “The Bingo Couple – Other Things” VersionRyunosuke Kamiki, Mone Kamishiraishi

Bingo 5 - The Bingo Couple - Other Things Version - 30 seconds

This is the Bingo 5 commercial titled “Bingo na Futari: Other Things,” featuring Ryunosuke Kamiki and Mone Kamishiraishi.

The scene shows the two on a date at a café.

Kamiki notices a lottery booth outside and remembers, “It’s the Bingo 5 drawing day.” Kamishiraishi, sensing that Kamiki is distracted and thinking about something else, asks, “Did you maybe fall for someone?” He answers, “Bingo,” which leads to a misunderstanding.

You’d think he could just clear it up, but the two don’t realize they’re talking past each other, and Kamiki’s repeated, rapid-fire “Bingo!” makes it all the more funny.

BINGO5 “A Bingo Pair: An Important Errand” VersionRyunosuke Kamiki, Mone Kamishiraishi

Bingo 5 – The Bingo Couple: Important Errand Edition (30 seconds)

This is the BINGO 5 commercial titled “The Two in Bingo: An Important Errand,” in which Ryunosuke Kamiki and Mone Kamishiraishi play a couple.

At their usual café, Kamishiraishi seems lost in thought.

She sends a message because she wants to see Kamiki, but his reply says he has an “important errand.” Looking dejected, she suddenly spots Kamiki—buying BINGO 5 at a lottery stand! Realizing that the important errand was buying BINGO 5, she heads toward him with a fierce, almost demonic expression.

Kamiki recoils at her momentum, but the two of them show such expressive reactions that it makes for a very fun commercial.

BINGO5 “A Bingo Pair: Birthday” EditionRyunosuke Kamiki, Mone Kamishiraishi

BINGO 5 - A Perfect Match: Birthday Edition (30 seconds)

This is the Bingo 5 commercial titled “A Bingo-Like Lottery: The Birthday Edition.” Ryunosuke Kamiki is struggling to choose numbers for his Bingo 5 picks and scribbles random numbers in a notebook.

Then Mone Kamishiraishi appears, sees the numbers, and beams with joy.

The numbers he wrote happen to be her birthday.

Delighted that he remembered, she hugs the notebook tightly.

Kamiki’s bewildered expression, as he realizes it’s impossible to admit he only wrote down random numbers, is hilarious.

The “There’s a mini, too” versionGoro Inagaki, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Shingo Katori

Numbers 3: There's also a Mini version!

This is the Numbers 3 lottery commercial, “There’s a Mini, too,” which has been airing since May 2018.

It features the three members of Atarashii Chizu: Shingo Katori, Goro Inagaki, and Tsuyoshi Kusanagi.

While the three wore blue button-up dress shirts in the Lotto 6 ad, in the Numbers 3 spot they’re dressed casually in white hooded sweatshirts.

It probably reflects that Numbers 3 is something you can enjoy more casually than Lotto 6.
