Masataka Kubota is sitting on a park bench and tosses an empty can into a trash bin, when Tomokazu Miura, playing the role of a mysterious old man, runs over and persistently urges him, “Isn’t now the time?” Confused, Kubota keeps asking, “The time for what?” Their back-and-forth banter is comical.

Bingo 5 - The Bingo Couple - Other Things Version - 30 seconds

This is the Bingo 5 commercial titled “Bingo na Futari: Other Things,” featuring Ryunosuke Kamiki and Mone Kamishiraishi.

The scene shows the two on a date at a café.

Kamiki notices a lottery booth outside and remembers, “It’s the Bingo 5 drawing day.” Kamishiraishi, sensing that Kamiki is distracted and thinking about something else, asks, “Did you maybe fall for someone?” He answers, “Bingo,” which leads to a misunderstanding.

You’d think he could just clear it up, but the two don’t realize they’re talking past each other, and Kamiki’s repeated, rapid-fire “Bingo!” makes it all the more funny.

Bingo 5 – The Bingo Couple: Important Errand Edition (30 seconds)

This is the BINGO 5 commercial titled “The Two in Bingo: An Important Errand,” in which Ryunosuke Kamiki and Mone Kamishiraishi play a couple.

At their usual café, Kamishiraishi seems lost in thought.

She sends a message because she wants to see Kamiki, but his reply says he has an “important errand.” Looking dejected, she suddenly spots Kamiki—buying BINGO 5 at a lottery stand! Realizing that the important errand was buying BINGO 5, she heads toward him with a fierce, almost demonic expression.

Kamiki recoils at her momentum, but the two of them show such expressive reactions that it makes for a very fun commercial.

Numbers 3: There's also a Mini version!

This is the Numbers 3 lottery commercial, “There’s a Mini, too,” which has been airing since May 2018.

It features the three members of Atarashii Chizu: Shingo Katori, Goro Inagaki, and Tsuyoshi Kusanagi.

While the three wore blue button-up dress shirts in the Lotto 6 ad, in the Numbers 3 spot they’re dressed casually in white hooded sweatshirts.

It probably reflects that Numbers 3 is something you can enjoy more casually than Lotto 6.

Commercial [Lottery Commercial] 2017 Bingo 5 “Live Canceled” 30 seconds

The ad features comedians like Matsumoto Club and A Masso.

It’s set at a concert by a popular artist, and the commercial opens with the show being canceled and the audience complaining.

“Sea Otter” VersionRyunosuke Kamiki

Spring Sparkle Lottery – Otter Edition

This is the lottery commercial “Spring Kirakira Lottery: Otter” featuring the multi-talented Ryunosuke Kamiki.

With a very solemn expression, Kamiki approaches an otter lying on a table and says, “Let me show you some research findings,” then shows it a lottery ticket.

The moment the otter sees the ticket, it gets super excited, pounding the shell on its belly; but when the ticket is hidden, it’s like a different creature—going limp and completely unmotivated.

The dramatic highs and lows of the otter’s mood are hilariously over-the-top—enough to make you say, “That much?”—and the otter is oddly adorable throughout the ad.
