[Townwork Commercials] Popular and Historical Commercials Summary [2026] (21–30)

Luge versionHitoshi Matsumoto, Tsukasa Saito (Trendy Angel)

Hitoshi Matsumoto screams as he tries luge; Torien’s Saito makes a brief appearance — Townwork’s new commercial “Luge” version

The Townwork commercial “Luge,” which started airing in February 2018.

It features Hitoshi Matsumoto taking on the winter sport of luge while introducing the Townwork app.

As a tournament staff member keeping an eye on Matsumoto, Toru Saito from the comedy duo Trendy Angel also makes a subtle appearance.

With Matsumoto’s thrilling scream-filled scenes and the irresistible urge to search for where Saito pops up, the commercial is packed with highlights.

ConfessionHitoshi Matsumoto, Mei Nagano, Jun Shison

Mei Nagano’s bittersweet crush on Jun Shison? New TV commercial and making-of for the job media Townwork: “Confession” edition

This is the Townwork commercial “Confession,” which began airing in October 2016.

In it, Mei Nagano throws a basketball toward the gym hoop, making a wish that she’ll confess her feelings if the shot goes in, but Hitoshi Matsumoto catches the rebound and sinks the shot himself.

After Matsumoto shouts, “If you’re going to work part-time, Townwork!” Nagano’s stunned expression is adorable.

“My Boyfriend Becomes a Butler” EditionHitoshi Matsumoto, Ryota Katayose

GENERATIONS’ Ryota Katayose and Hitoshi Matsumoto become double butlers who speak from a girlfriend’s point of view in new Townwork CM: “When My Boyfriend Becomes a Butler”

This is a Townwork commercial that aired in 2017.

In addition to the familiar Hitoshi Matsumoto, Ryota Katayose from GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE also appeared, which became a hot topic.

The setup is that Katayose, playing the boyfriend, becomes a butler for just one day, and the footage is from the girlfriend’s point of view.

Then Hitoshi Matsumoto suddenly appears and delivers the familiar line, “If you’re going to work a part-time job, Townwork.”

Coffee Shop – VersionHitoshi Matsumoto, Rina Ikoma

Rina Ikoma becomes a café clerk in a commercial, teaming up with Hitoshi Matsumoto to tackle a “complex order” in Townwork’s new TV commercial, Coffee Shop edition.

In this 2017 Townwork commercial, not only the familiar Hitoshi Matsumoto appears, but Rina Ikoma—who was a member of Nogizaka46 at the time—also features.

The two are depicted working part-time at a coffee shop, and the phrase “If you’re going to work a part-time job, use Townwork” shows up as a coffee order.

The quirky intonation sticks in your ears and makes you want to say it out loud yourself!

“What are you downloading?!” editionHitoshi Matsumoto, Shuhei Nomura

Shuhei Nomura plays a parent-child role with Hitoshi Matsumoto in a new commercial, saying he struggled to hold back laughter during the ad-libbed acting.

This is the Townwork commercial titled “What are you downloading?,” featuring Hitoshi Matsumoto and Shuhei Nomura as a father and son.

The father barges into his son’s room and, without hearing him out, demands to know what he’s downloading on his smartphone.

He’s only downloading the Townwork app, but for some reason it’s all staged dramatically.

The son’s line, “Everyone’s doing it,” is a classic thing kids say, and then the father, in a kind of self-delivering punchline, admits, “I’m doing it too,” leaving you not knowing what’s going on—that’s the vibe of the commercial.

“Part-Time False God: Oishii” ArcHitoshi Matsumoto, Shotaro Mamiya, JP

Hitoshi Matsumoto impersonator JP appears as a “fake god”; Shotaro Mamiya says, “If it were just the voice, I wouldn’t know.” Townwork’s new part-time-job God commercials: ‘Fake Part-Time Job God: Oishii’ and ‘Fake Part-Time Job God: Fake Sound’

In the Townwork commercial released in February 2019, in addition to Hitoshi Matsumoto—familiar as the “part-time job god”—and Shotaro Mamiya, JP, a popular impressionist known for impersonating Hitoshi Matsumoto, also appears.

JP performs as a fake god, showcasing his Matsumoto impersonation.

Since the faces aren’t very clear in the footage, many people probably listened only to the voices and mistakenly thought both were the real Hitoshi Matsumoto.

In addition to the familiar Hitoshi Matsumoto and Shotaro Mamiya, JP—well-known for his impressions of Hitoshi Matsumoto—also appears.

JP plays the role of the “fake deity,” delivering his Matsumoto impersonation.

Even the props in the commercial show a dedication to fakes: for example, it uses “supplements” instead of an app, and “bait” instead of a part-time job, revealing playful counterfeit details throughout.
