[Townwork Commercials] Popular and Historical Commercials Summary [2026] (21–30)
“Friend’s Part-Time Job God: Waiwai”Hitoshi Matsumoto, Shotaro Mamiya, Ruriko Kojima

The Townwork commercial made headlines for featuring Hitoshi Matsumoto as the “Part-time Job God.” Whenever Shotaro Mamiya looks for a part-time job, the Job God inevitably appears.
This time, he’s searching with a friend—but while the Job God shows up as an older man for him, a beautiful woman, Ruriko Kojima, appears as the god for his friend.
Even the older-man Job God is taken aback.
He clings to the friend and the beautiful goddess, sticks close while listening to explanations, and tries every trick to stay attached.
The way everyone ends up packed together makes it a chuckle-worthy commercial.
“Friend’s Part-Time Job God: Tearful” VersionHitoshi Matsumoto, Shotaro Mamiya, Ruriko Kojima

In the Townwork commercial released in December 2018, along with the familiar faces Hitoshi Matsumoto and Shotaro Mamiya, Ruriko Kojima—affectionately known as “Kojiruri”—also appears.
Playing the second “part-time job god,” Ruriko Kojima explains how to use Townwork.
The commercial ends with a punchline where Hitoshi Matsumoto bursts into tears after being snubbed by Shotaro Mamiya, a gag that stays funny no matter how many times you watch it.

“The Pushy Girlfriend: Hilarious” EditionHitoshi Matsumoto, Shotaro Mamiya, Maika Yamamoto

This is the version featuring Maika Yamamoto, who’s currently popular for being a character that bluntly says whatever she thinks.
The setup takes full advantage of her image.
It’s really funny how the god played by Hitoshi Matsumoto can’t keep up with her pushy energy and his enthusiasm gradually drops.
The role can be a bit overbearing, but her cute smile and completely guileless remarks evoke today’s young women, drawing even more laughs from viewers.
It’s a commercial that makes you think, “Even Matsumoto can’t win against a girl this young…”
“Snow Country” ChapterHitoshi Matsumoto, Asuka Saito, Taishi Nakagawa

The Townwork commercial “Snow Country,” which began airing in January 2017.
In it, Asuka Saito of Nogizaka46 plays a girl who fails to confess her feelings to a boy played by Taishi Nakagawa, when Hitoshi Matsumoto appears and delivers his familiar line as if giving love advice.
Watch how the heart-fluttering scene featuring the refreshingly pure Saito and Nakagawa takes a surreal turn with Matsumoto’s entrance.
The music is “Mahō no Yō ni” by SHISHAMO, a three-piece rock band popular especially among teenagers.
A part-time job is waiting for you.Noriyuki Makihara

A commercial in a drama style featuring Anna Ishibashi, depicting the mistakes and earnest efforts of a protagonist who works at a family restaurant.
The protagonist heads to her part-time job after school, changes into her uniform, and starts working.
She makes small mistakes—typical “part-time job moments”—but Anna Ishibashi is so charming that you can’t help but relate.
It’s a commercial that makes you want to cheer her on and say, “You’ve got this!”
Part-time Job TeaserNoriyuki Makihara

This commercial is put together like a drama—or more like a trailer for a drama or movie—with Shingo Katori as the shift leader, Sosuke Takei as the store manager, Yua Shinkawa as the new part-time hire, and Hikomaro as the mysterious customer.
It’s packed with intriguing details that make you think, “Where’s the full version?” The final scene, where Shingo Katori’s shift leader walks away with everyone, even gives it a bit of a road-movie vibe.
Who’s on Townwork? “BARBER” EditionTatsuya Fujiwara

This is the Townwork job listing commercial titled “Townwork—Who Could It Be? BARBER.” To the familiar Townwork melody, the lyrics go, “Townwork, who could it be?” A person wearing a mysterious square box with the Townwork logo gets a barber’s shave—with whipped-cream-like foam applied over the box—and a blow-dry on top of it.
Naturally, you’re dying to know who’s inside.
Then comes the long-awaited moment: the box comes off, and there he is—Tatsuya Fujiwara, sporting a perfectly curled handlebar mustache! That’s the twist of the commercial.
