Universal Studios Japan, or USJ, is an extremely popular theme park in Osaka.

USJ Uni-Spring 2022: “Student-discount Annual Pass and Exclusive Attraction Rentals!”

FOMARE, who also made waves with their appearance on THE FIRST TAKE.
Their 2022 release “Aisuru Hito” (The One I Love) has been used in commercials announcing the student-discount annual pass and exclusive attraction rentals.
Since the CM portrays a page out of youth, the lyrics—singing about bonds with loved ones—match it perfectly.
If you listen closely, you’ll notice words sprinkled throughout the lyrics that evoke USJ, so pay attention when you listen.
Also worth noting is how the song’s driving melody fits perfectly with footage of racing through the park.
USJ SUPER NINTENDO WORLD

Set to that familiar BGM, this commercial is truly exciting as it shows Nintendo’s idol, Mario, dashing and leaping all around USJ’s new area.
It’s a pre-release PR spot for “SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.” Knowing that an area themed around that character—who’s shared countless adventures with players across generations, from the Famicom to the latest consoles—is coming, it feels like both adults and kids at heart will be able to enjoy it!
USJ NO LIMIT! Blast Off! This is the Super-Energy Special Zone: “Unforgettable First Love” Edition

Many of you probably remember the 2023 spring commercial titled “An Unforgettable First Love,” don’t you? The first half of the ad portrays a first love that didn’t come to fruition, tightening your chest with a bittersweet ache.
Paired with an acoustic guitar accompaniment and gentle vocals, the background music makes the commercial especially memorable.

This track was specially written by YOASOBI, a duo that composes songs based on stories, for Uni Spring 2023.
This time, it was created using publicly submitted memories of experiences at USJ as its source material.

This commercial promotes the fun of spring at USJ by showing university students enjoying the attractions.
