USJ Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Miracle 4-D – ‘Moon Palace’ Version
The 2019 collaboration with USJ was with Sailor Moon, a huge favorite among girls! For those who watched the anime when it originally aired, this collab was especially irresistible.
The song used in the commercial was, of course, DALI’s Moonlight Densetsu, the well-known opening theme of Sailor Moon.
The moment that iconic intro and sparkling melody start, anyone gets instantly drawn into that world—and the excitement shoots through the roof! Women who are the perfect-age Sailor Moon generation, girls who’ve never seen it, and of course men too—everyone is guaranteed to enjoy both the attraction and the music.
USJ Hollywood Dream – The Ride
USJ stands on Osaka’s waterfront.
Over the years there have been many commercial songs, but when you hear “USJ,” isn’t this the one that comes to mind? DREAMS COME TRUE’s “Osaka LOVER.” While DREAMS COME TRUE isn’t from Osaka, this song expresses a deep love for the city.
There were collaborations with attractions as well, so many of you may have memories of USJ tied to this song.
It was a very memorable commercial from 2006.
USJ “15th Anniversary RE-BOOOOOOOORN!”
Here’s the commercial for USJ’s 15th anniversary event, which aired in 2016.
Titled “USJ 15th Anniversary RE-BOOOOOOOORN!!,” it builds tons of excitement and really amps up the anniversary year.
The song is by the Swedish rock band The Royal Concept, and set to their high-energy dance tune, this CM is packed with that quintessential USJ exhilaration that gets both adults and kids totally hyped.
USJ “Universal Cool Japan 2016 (Kyary Pamyu Pamyu XR Ride)”
This song was chosen as the commercial theme for the attraction “Kyary Pamyu Pamyu XR Ride,” which drew attention in 2016 as the world’s first real ride × VR, and it was also used in the actual attraction.
Its sparkling, dreamy-cute soundscape matches the fleeting dreaminess of an amusement park and feels very romantic.
USJ Universal Wonder Christmas 2016
The song that colors USJ’s 2016 Christmas commercial is “Miracle of Life” by the British boy soprano group Libera.
Carried by their beautiful voices, it perfectly evokes the feeling of a holy night.
The narration, told from a father’s perspective as he reflects that this might be the last time he comes to USJ with his daughter, is truly moving.

USJ Attack on Titan: The Real 4D
This is a song by Linked Horizon used as the opening theme for the smash-hit anime Attack on Titan.
It was featured in the TV commercial for Attack on Titan: The Real 4D at Universal Studios Japan.
The operatic, grandiose track became a long-running hit and drew attention when it was performed on the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.

USJ Jurassic Park: The Flying Dinosaur
This is the song used in the commercial for the attraction Jurassic Park: The Flying Dinosaur.
The film Jurassic Park was released in 1993 and became a major topic of conversation thanks to its realistic CGI.
It was later remade as Jurassic World in 2015, and as an immortal classic, it remains a work with enduring popularity.
