Tissue-paper butterfly

Why not try making fluffy butterflies using soft tissue paper? If you use a template, you can easily make them in bulk.
Start by creating a butterfly template with dark-colored tissue paper.
Divide the tissue paper into six equal parts and cut out the template with scissors.
Once cut, stick it onto copier paper and make copies.
Stack several sheets of butterfly tissue paper on top of the copied paper, staple around the edges, and then cut them out along with the template.
After cutting, twist a chenille stem (pipe cleaner) around the center of the butterfly paper to finish.
Butterflies made with tissue paper

Let me share a gentle-feeling wall decor idea using tissue paper.
First, make a butterfly template, place it on the tissue paper, and cut out butterfly shapes.
Next, wrap a piece of craft chenille stem around the center of the tissue paper and twist it, using the extra ends to create the antennae.
It’s very easy to make, so try making lots of butterflies and let them flutter over a flower field.
If you use white, they’ll look like cabbage whites; if you use yellow, they’ll resemble clouded yellows.
For the flowers, white clover, dandelions, and clover would be nice choices.
Butterfly hanging ornament

Hanging decorations look really cute even when you use them on part of a wall! For this idea, cut several identical butterfly shapes out of construction paper and glue two pieces together to make one butterfly.
Be sure to place a thread between them before gluing.
If you only glue the pieces together at the center and then, after it dries, spread the wings outward, the butterfly will look three-dimensional from any angle.
When decorating a wall, create a flower field on the wall and hang the butterflies from the ceiling a little away from the wall.
From the side they’ll look like hanging decorations, but from the front it will seem as if the butterflies are playing in the flower field—so you can enjoy it in two different ways.
Give it a try!
Colorful construction paper collage butterfly

Let’s make cute butterflies by collaging construction paper! Prepare several colors of construction paper and cut out as many butterflies as you want.
Try to make butterflies in as many different colors as you can.
After you’ve cut them out, cut the leftover paper into teardrop shapes and use those to create patterns on the butterfly wings.
You can collage them however you like—paste teardrops of your preferred colors and sizes.
Finally, attach the butterfly bodies with faces drawn on them, and you’re done! It’s an idea that will make your wall display look wonderfully vibrant!

For stamping, prepare drawing paper, water balloons, a fork, and paint.
For decalcomania, prepare drawing paper, cut cardboard, and paint.
Each technique has a lovely feel, so choose based on your child’s age and interests.
