Maiko Ito, who was active as an idol singer, is from Nakagawa Ward in Nagoya City.
She debuted as an idol singer with the single “Binetsu ka Na.” At the time, she performed under her real name, Maiko Ito.
She still works as an actress and TV personality, and you occasionally see her on television and elsewhere.

Once-in-a-lifetime encounterTamakoshi Toshihiro (3B LAB.☆S)

3B LAB.☆S is the rock band formed in 2002 by Kenji Okahira, a member of 19, who were hugely popular during the late-1990s folk song boom.
Drummer Masahiro Tamakoshi, from Aichi Prefecture, also handled backing vocals for the band.
He was an original member from the band’s inception but left in 2009.
The band is characterized by positive, message-driven lyrics and incorporates elements of melodic hardcore.
Light Blue RainYagami Junko

Singer-songwriter Junko Yagami, who made her solo debut in 1985, is from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.
Her soulful, glamorous voice—exemplified by her signature song “Mizu-iro no Ame” (“Light Blue Rain”)—is utterly captivating.
The mood of kayōkyoku blended with Yagami’s uniquely sexy allure really hits home.
It also has a chic quality that connects with the city pop boom that’s swept the world since the late 2010s, making her music perfect for a mellow night listen.
After delivering a string of hits from the late ’70s through the ’80s, including “Purple Town,” she has based herself in the United States and continues to pursue a lifelong career as an active performer.
Cosmology feat. The LASTTRAKIto Takaki, Iwata Acchu (NIRGILIS)

NIRGILIS was an electropop band active from 1993 to 2014.
Guitarist Koki Ito, an original member who left in 2007, and Acchu Iwata, who handled vocals and synthesizer, are both from Aichi Prefecture.
They left behind many highly original songs with a distinctive floating feel, but disbanded in 2014 when all members left the group.
