DA PUMP made a comeback sparked by the 2018 release of “U.S.A.” They made their major debut in 1997 with the single “Feelin’ Good -It’s PARADISE-,” and went on to release numerous hits such as “if…” and “Rhapsody in Blue.” Although their activity decreased due to various events, including member departures, they relaunched as a new DA PUMP in 2009 with new members.

After becoming a seven-member group, their opportunities expanded significantly four years later with “U.S.A.” With dances and vocals that are both humorous and cool—and irresistibly imitable—they have captivated fans of all ages.

ORANGE RANGE – Ikenai Taiyou / THE FIRST TAKE
Naughty SunYAMATO(ORANGE RANGE)

ORANGE RANGE is a five-member rock band from Okinawa with the unusual setup of three vocalists, and YAMATO is one of them.

In terms of vocal parts, he handles the high register and often sings the main melody, while also covering both upper and lower harmonies—a very busy role.

Thanks to many years of touring, his live performance stands out for not rushing, not wavering, and never wearing out.

I’m the same way, but if you like harmonizing, you’ll probably want to sing YAMATO’s parts.

If you watch the THE FIRST TAKE videos with the backing track muted, you can really feel how much he does and how stable his voice is.

No matter what he sings, his pitch never wavers and he nails it, which makes him truly pleasant to listen to.

He’s mastered a wide range of genres, so definitely check out their music from their debut onward!
