Songs to Calm You When You're Anxious: Classic and Popular Japanese Tracks (111–120)

Always With MeKimura Yumi

It’s a piece from Ghibli’s Spirited Away.

The harp and the clear, translucent soprano vocals match so well that, even setting aside the Ghibli factor, it feels like a song that could easily become famous.

It’s truly wonderful.

While it’s hard to combine with other tracks in a general playlist, it actually fits better when you slip it into a playlist of vocal or classical vocal music.

All of MeJohn Legend

All of MeJohn Legend

It’s a classic John Legend ballad.

The piano melody is especially beautiful, and its flowing lines gently touch the listener’s heart.

It conveys how important it is to care for someone—how that very feeling can bring pain and anxiety.

Yet it also makes you feel that love, for all of that, is something truly wonderful and valuable.

Romeo and Cinderellakeeno

"Romeo and Cinderella" Original Song, vo. Hatsune Miku
Romeo and Cinderellakeeno

This song, featuring the well-known Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, portrays anxieties and inner conflict in romance.

While there are many love-themed tracks, this one expresses its emotions lyrically by incorporating a visual kei rock-like atmosphere into the backing music.

Motherkariyushi 58

It’s crafted as a very simple story.

These lyrics flow along with Kariyushi 58’s distinctive rhythm.

Yet underlying it all is, after all, the bond between mother and child.

Family is something that remains a source of comfort no matter how much time passes.

This is RADWIMPS’s 7th single.

I like the chorus, but I like the rap part even more—it’s addictive.

Yojiro Noda’s clear, transparent voice is really soothing.

I don’t know much myself, but it seems their name became even more well-known with “Zenzenzense.” It makes me happy that RAD fans are increasing and more people get to hear that singing voice.
