Featuring Tomohisa Yamashita! A compilation of DMM Mobile commercials
“The ‘5,000 Yen Discount’ Version”Tomohisa Yamashita

This is the DMM Mobile commercial “You’ll Save 5,000 Yen,” featuring Tomohisa Yamashita, with the keyword “Yamapi Ottamage.” Yamashita wants to convey that it’s cheaper than the major telecom companies, but for some reason he starts lip-syncing partway through.
The answer is in the commercial’s title (lol).
And if you watch his mouth, you can tell he’s saying “go-sen en” (five thousand yen).
The elegant BGM further enhances the commercial’s surreal vibe.
“Baku-Yasu” VersionTomohisa Yamashita

This is the “Super Cheap” version of the DMM mobile commercial featuring Tomohisa Yamashita, affectionately known as Yamapi.
It aired in 2016.
Yamashita makes a cool entrance and says he dislikes anything contrived.
But since he was told to do it, he takes off his boldly styled suit jacket, unbuttons his shirt, and reveals the words “Super Cheap” written on his bare chest.
Seeing that, he reacts in an exaggeratedly surprised way—going “Whaaat?!”—making for a comical ad.
