Snowy world of friendly penguins

In February, when the cold wind still tingles the skin, the perfect way for children to have a blast is through hands-on crafts.
Why not try activities that spark the creativity of five-year-olds while incorporating winter elements like the cold and snow? In this “Friendly Penguins’ Snowy World,” children use origami to create penguins and glaciers, and complete the scene with hand-drawn snowflakes to build a single, cohesive world.
There’s fun in folding penguins by following set steps and in tearing origami by hand to represent icebergs.
A yarn garland made by wrapping
https://www.tiktok.com/@hoikushisatomi/video/7459717839067417873Have fun playing with yarn! Here’s a super cute heart craft to try.
It’s also great as a Valentine’s Day gift.
First, cut cardboard into a heart shape.
Attach a bit of double-sided tape, then wrap the cardboard with yarn in your favorite colors.
The more yarn you wrap, the fluffier and cuter it gets.
You can even connect them into a garland to decorate your wall.
Make them in different colors and enjoy creating them with children while coming up with fun ways to play!

I’ll show you how to make chocolate magnets that look just like the real thing! First, put some wood glue onto a magnet sheet.
Mix in acrylic paint to match the look of chocolate.
Use a spatula to spread it so it has a little thickness.
Add decorations on top and press them lightly so they stick.
Once it’s dry, cut it out in a chocolate-like shape, and you’re done! Wrap it up and it makes a perfect gift.
For decorations, get creative with craft parts, beads, and more.

You can make cupcakes out of plastic bottle caps! Here’s a cute Valentine’s craft idea.
Stick your favorite washi tape around a plastic bottle cap, then apply wood glue to the inside bottom of the cap and stuff it with tissue paper to look like cream.
Next, add wood glue around the tissue paper and wrap yarn around and around.
Finally, decorate with beads or pom-poms, and it’s done! Thicker yarn makes it look more like real cream, so it’s recommended.

Perfect for winter! Here’s a cute snowflake craft you can make with yarn.
First, cut three chopsticks into shorter pieces, then tie the three sticks together with yarn.
Secure them with wood glue, and after wrapping each stick just a few times to start, continue wrapping the yarn around each stick in sequence.
Once you’ve wrapped to your liking, tie it off at the back to finish! It also looks adorable made with small tree branches, so that’s recommended too.
Using four sticks gives it a different look, so try making them with kids and have fun getting creative together.
