Nara Women’s University’s Koto Festival is packed with events like bingo and beauty pageants, but its biggest draw is the charity raffle that leverages the large number of sponsoring companies. Participants can win products provided by sponsors through low-cost raffle tickets, and the proceeds are donated to welfare-related facilities, helping to support the local community.

Kyoto Hiranjo Festival | Heian Jogakuin University (Kyoto Campus)Sun, 10/26, Kyoto Prefecture
Heijo Festival is the school festival held at Heian Jogakuin University’s Takatsuki campus. Heian Jogakuin University is a Christian-affiliated institution, a Christian-based university (i.e., a mission school). The ND Festival is held in late October at Notre Dame Women’s University, located in the northern part of Kyoto.
