The Ginkgo Festival is where the freshmen who were welcomed at the spring Futaba Festival switch to the hosting side and take part in various events and food stalls. Lessons learned from that year’s Futaba Festival are fed back, leading to a more refined school festival, so you’re sure to be satisfied.

Yuka Festival | Osaka International UniversityNov 1 (Sat) – 2 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture
Yuka Festival is the school festival held at Osaka International University’s Moriguchi Campus. We welcome amazing guests every year, and this year you can enjoy a talk show by voice actor Yuki Kaji and a live performance by the popular band Aqua Timez.

Tenri University Festival | Tenri University (Somanouchi Campus)Nov 1 (Sat) – 3 (Mon), Nara Prefecture
At Tenri University’s school festival, in addition to a popular artist’s live performance, there are stage events by various clubs, department-based presentations and bazaars, and even a mobile petting zoo—an uncommon attraction for a school festival. There are also food stalls and plays, making it a festival that children can enjoy as well.

Tohka Festival | Kyoto Women's UniversitySat 11/1 – Mon 11/3, Kyoto Prefecture
Held in early November each year, the Fuji Flower Festival captivates with a glamorous atmosphere befitting a women’s university festival. A variety of events are held annually, but the main attraction is the talk show. There’s also a regular event akin to a beauty pageant called the “Kyo-onna Yamato Nadeshiko Championship.”

Koudai Festival | University of HyogoFri 10/31 – Sun 11/2, Hyogo Prefecture
It is a university established in 2004 through the merger of three Hyogo Prefectural universities: Kobe University of Commerce, Himeji Institute of Technology, and Hyogo College of Nursing Art and Science. The fact that the school festival is called the “Kōdaisai” (Engineering Festival) also reflects the history of the former institutions. The festival is packed with events, including live performances featuring guest artists.

Ryukoku Festival | Ryukoku University (Fukakusa Campus)Fri 10/31 – Sun 11/2, Kyoto Prefecture
Ryukoku University is a private university headquartered in Tsukamoto-cho, Fukakusa, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, established in 1922. Its founding spirit is “to seek the truth, live by the truth, and reveal the truth.” Originating from a dormitory established by Nishi Hongan-ji, it is a Buddhist-affiliated institution. The school festival at the Fukakusa Campus is called the Ryukoku Festival and is held over three days on November 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
