At Kansai Medical University’s school festival, there are food stalls run by various clubs and circles, as well as performances on stages both indoors and outdoors—just what you’d expect from a university festival. Fukkitsu Festival | Fukuchiyama Public UniversitySat, Nov 1 — Kyoto Prefecture
Fukkitsu Festival was first held in 2016, the year Fukuchiyama Public University opened. The name “Fukkitsu Festival” combines “kikyo” (balloon flower), the city flower of Fukuchiyama, which appeared frequently among the name suggestions, with the “fuku” from Fukuchiyama. It’s a lively university festival featuring a variety of events and food stalls.
