This is the school festival of Kobe City University of Foreign Studies. Every year, unique events are held, such as a rally where questions about human “senses” are posed. Since it’s a foreign studies university, you might even get a taste of being abroad.

Shimotsuki Festival | Kansai Medical UniversityNov 1 (Sat) – 2 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture

At Kansai Medical University’s school festival, there are food stalls run by various clubs and circles, as well as performances on stages both indoors and outdoors—just what you’d expect from a university festival. In addition, in keeping with its identity as a medical university, there are also lectures under the title “Medical Exhibition,” covering topics such as emergency medicine, traditional Chinese medicine (kampo), and community healthcare.

Fukkitsu Festival | Fukuchiyama Public UniversitySat, Nov 1 — Kyoto Prefecture

Fukkitsu Festival was first held in 2016, the year Fukuchiyama Public University opened. The name “Fukkitsu Festival” combines “kikyo” (balloon flower), the city flower of Fukuchiyama, which appeared frequently among the name suggestions, with the “fuku” from Fukuchiyama. It’s a lively university festival featuring a variety of events and food stalls.
