Let's Make and Display! Origami Perfect for Halloween (31–40)
Origami bat

Fold the origami paper twice to make a small triangle, then make a slit under the top corner, parallel to the base.
Make the slit from the side opposite the fold, being careful not to cut it off.
The upper triangular section you slit will become the bat’s head, and the lower part will be the wings.
Open the paper back into the large triangle, and fold the slit section toward the central crease to form the head shape.
Fold the same parts back to create the bat’s distinctive ears.
Use a zigzag (mountain–valley) fold for the junction between the head and body.
Finally, fold the remaining wings several times to add creases and give it a three-dimensional finish, and you’re done.
Message card of a self-standing cat

A cat-themed message card that sits cutely on a desk or a gift.
You can make it with a single sheet of origami, and the steps aren’t very difficult.
Try using black or orange origami paper to give it a Halloween vibe.
Fold the origami into a triangle, then fold the top corner down to meet the center of the base.
Cut off the top layer of the folded-down triangle with scissors, leaving it as the space to write your message.
Flip the origami top to bottom, fold the left and right edges toward the base, then fold them up again to create the cat’s ears.
Finally, tuck in the corners to shape the head, and attach the cat’s face and an oval-cut white piece for the message area to finish.
Halloween wreath made with paper cutouts

Get some construction paper, scissors, and colored pens ready, and let’s get started.
Fold the paper three times, then cut along the sketch lines.
When you unfold it, you’ll have a cute wreath shape.
Making ghost shapes adds to the Halloween vibe, too.
Use colored pens to draw the faces, one little square at a time.
Adding small ribbons or stickers can make it even cuter.
It also makes a nice little Halloween gift.
A ghost wearing a hat

Here’s how to fold a cute, plump little ghost dressed up with a witch’s hat.
You’ll use both the front and back colors of the origami paper: the front color becomes the witch’s hat, and the white back becomes the ghost’s body.
Making the protruding part of the hat involves some precise folds and might be a bit tricky, but once you get that, all that’s left is shaping the ghost’s body.
Fold it in your favorite colors and make lots of ghosts wearing colorful hats together!
Easy Ghost Origami Instructions

Here’s an origami ghost that’s perfect for autumn Halloween.
Prepare one sheet of origami paper and fold it into a triangle.
Then fold the left and right corners in toward the center line.
Tuck the loose, fluttery corner downwards.
Fold the whole piece toward the center line, then fold the tip downward to shape it into a ghost.
If you fold the bottom part of the ghost at an angle, it adds movement and makes a cute ghost.
Once it’s finished, draw a face and stick it on a Halloween bag or wand to enjoy!
