Chinese jump rope

Let's try rubber band jumping!! #1
Chinese jump rope

This is a game where you make a loop out of 2 to 3 meters of flat elastic, like the kind used for sewing, and two people hold it or clamp it around their legs while someone jumps.

It has been popular with children since the Showa era and seems to have been especially trendy in the 1980s.

The jumper hops and twists the elastic in time with a song, and it’s also fun to gradually raise the height when they succeed.

Avoid busy sidewalks and play in safe places like parks.

These days, colorful elastics made specifically for this game are also sold.

♪ Original song – QUUUN!! – QUUUN!!

Connect your hearts to the music! Here’s an idea for a trust-building game.

It’s a unique activity you can enjoy with friends you always spend time with—full of excitement and a little thrill.

First, hold hands and form a circle.

Gradually lower your hips and move into a squat.

Once everyone is fully squatting, stand back up together in sync.

It’s a simple game! Because it relies on trust, you’ll support each other’s balance as you sit and stand—so try it with friends you trust.

Reaction Game

Listen carefully to the instructions and move quickly—that’s the key! Here’s an idea for a reaction game.

It’s a great recreational activity for when you want to move your body even indoors.

All you need to prepare are items like color markers.

Once two people stand facing each other in pairs, you’re ready to go! When the game starts, march in place and touch the indicated part of your own body.

It’s a simple game where, when the caller says something like “elbow,” you grab the color marker.

Give it a try!

9-square tag

[SixTONES] '9-Square Tag'—You Can’t Go Wrong with the Blue Tracksuit!!
9-square tag

A nine-square tag game you can try from indoors to outdoors.

It’s a fun activity that tests not only physical ability but also insight and decision-making.

Use paper or tape to draw a 3×3 grid, have one person stand in each square, and choose one person to be “it.” At the signal to move, everyone changes squares; if you end up in the same square as “it,” you’re caught.

You can also enjoy a variant where you try a set number of rounds: if everyone gets caught, “it” wins; if anyone survives, the runners win.

Give it a try with your middle school club members or classmates and have a great time together.

Water balloon catch

[Sad News] We made 200 water balloons in two minutes and played with them, and then an incident happened.
Water balloon catch

This game is perfect for a hot summer: catch thrown water balloons and have fun! The throwers hurl as many water balloons as they can, and the catchers compete to see how many they can catch within the time limit.

The rules are to catch the balloons above your head and not to catch them beyond the designated line.

Since the balloons burst easily, the catchers will be soaked by the time the clock runs out! But there’s no doubt it will become a fun, unforgettable memory of your youth.

Paper Cup Jenga

[Paper Cup Jenga] Sibling Showdown!! It looks like it’s going to collapse the whole time… #shorts
Paper Cup Jenga

Let’s enjoy the thrill! Here are some ideas for Paper Cup Jenga.

Jenga is a simple party game played with wooden blocks, where players take turns removing blocks from a stacked tower without toppling it.

This time, let’s put a twist on Jenga—fun for both kids and adults—using paper cups and printer paper.

It’s also great because setup and cleanup are easy.

It’s perfect for recess or short breaks, so give it a try!

Indoor physical play activities (21–30)

Human finger smartphone (likely shorthand for smartphone operated by human finger)

The finger-guessing game done with people that went viral on Twitter was super fun.
Human finger smartphone (likely shorthand for smartphone operated by human finger)

With a numerical count, participants simultaneously show their thumbs and try to guess the total number—this is the classic “finger sum” game, but advanced through full-body movement.

Participants wait while bowing, and with each count, they freely decide whether to raise their upper bodies.

If someone correctly guesses how many people have raised their upper bodies, they clear the round.

The key excitement comes from reading and outmaneuvering how others will move.

Since each person can only choose 0 or 1, it’s best played with a large group to broaden the range of possible totals.
