As their name suggests, Johnny’s WEST is made up of members from Kansai Johnny’s Jr.
They are the first group in ten years to carry on the Kansai spirit since Kanjani Eight, who have gone on to become a nationwide sensation.
Originally, the group was supposed to debut with the current seven members, but just a few hours before their unveiling at the Johnny’s Countdown Live at the end of 2013, they were suddenly told they would debut as four.
They went on to perform in that day’s show as planned, but believing that the other three members’ strength was essential to aim for a nationally popular group, they later negotiated with the agency, and their debut as the current seven-member lineup was realized.
The performances of Johnny’s WEST, formed with such strong determination, truly resonate with the heart.

Number one in Naniwa!Janīzu WEST
This is a song that’s been around since their Kansai Junior days.
It’s a bright and fun track that’s very Johnny’s WEST-like.
The choreography is easy to learn, so at concerts everyone can dance along, which makes it even more exciting.
It’s a Johnny’s WEST song, but it’s also a Kansai Junior song.
Summer DreamerJanīzu WEST
It’s a fun song where the members’ names appear neatly throughout! Be sure to listen closely to the lyrics and try to spot where each member shows up! Just like five of the members, many of Johnny’s WEST were born in the summer, making this the perfect summer classic for them!
EternalJanīzu WEST
It’s a really cool song.
The members’ dance moves are perfectly in sync, and the way they pour their hearts into the bittersweet lyrics really stands out.
The staging at live shows is super cool too, and I personally felt it’s a song the members are emotionally attached to.
Osaka☆Love・Eye・SorrowJanīzu WEST
This is their seventh single, released in 2017.
Kiyoshi Matsuo, who produced CHEMISTRY and created numerous hit songs, participated as the producer.
It’s a track that lets you enjoy Johnny’s WEST’s lively vibe while capturing a nostalgic Osaka atmosphere.

P&PJanīzu WEST
Many songs by Johnny’s WEST include lyrics like “the password is ○○,” and P&P is one of them.
P&P stands for “Perfect & Peak.” It’s often performed during encores at concerts and really gets the crowd excited.
Horumon: The Diamond Handed Down in KansaiJanīzu WEST
This song is included on the second album Lucky Seven, released in December 2015.
As the title suggests, it’s a track overflowing with love for “horumon,” a popular Osaka-style grilled offal dish.
The choreography features unique dance moves such as wotagei, making for a highly engaging performance.
All My LoveJanīzu WEST
It is included on the fourth single, “Bari Hapi,” released in July 2015.
The limited edition B of the same single also features an alternate version titled “All My Love ~Chura Mix~.” It is a ballad that gently expresses feelings for a loved one with lyrics in the Kansai dialect.
