You also see their commercials on TV quite often, don’t you?
Kirin’s commercial songs sometimes use existing tracks as tie-ins, of course, but there are also many cases where the featured performers sing parody versions, or popular songs are reinterpreted as acoustic self-covers—unique versions you can only hear in the commercials.

You don’t listen to rock.aimyon

A popular jukebox series that has featured many artists performing stripped-down sets.
In the “GREEN JUKEBOX: Kimi” installment, Aimyon performs her signature song, “Kimi wa Rock o Kikanai.” Aimyon has appeared in Tannrei Green Label commercials before, and her acoustic arrangement this time is truly wonderful.
The original’s rock-ballad vibe suits her too, but the acoustic version lets you savor her vocals even more directly.
Youth and youth and youthaimyon

This song was featured in the popular Tannrei Green Label “Jukebox Series” commercial aired in 2021, titled “Small Jukebox.” Although its music video was released in 2021, the song was actually the B-side to her signature 2017 track “Kimi wa Rock wo Kikanai.” Four years after its release, it’s drawing attention again.
The original is a soft, floating rock ballad that’s very characteristic of Aimyon, but in the commercial it’s performed in a stripped-down, singer-songwriter style with just an acoustic guitar—and this acoustic version also suits the song’s atmosphere beautifully.
A Little Less Conversation JXL Radio Edit RemixErubisu Puresurī

The song used in the SPRING VALLEY Hojun commercial featuring Hiroki Hasegawa and Kumiko Aso is “A Little Less Conversation (JXL Radio Edit Remix).” It’s a remixed version by Junkie XL of Elvis Presley’s track known in Japan as “Oshaberi wa Yamete.” While retaining the original’s funky groove, it’s arranged to feel more danceable and powerful.
freezing rainjero

This is a commercial featuring Jero, the American-born enka singer who made headlines as the “Black Ship” of the enka world, in which he also performs the jingle.
It’s a CM for Kirin’s FIRE Cafe Zero, and the playful idea of overlapping “Zero” from Cafe Zero, “-jaro” from Kilimanjaro coffee, and Jero’s name makes it really fun!

Jump In The LineHarī Berafonte

It’s a song released in 1961.
In 2014, it was used as the theme song for Suntory’s All-Free commercial, featuring Tomoko Yamaguchi and Yūki Himura of the comedy duo Banana Man.
It is also included in Nintendo Wii’s software Just Dance Wii, and has been enjoyed by a wide audience.
Overflowing with Kindness (Cover)Minami Sara

You can hear Sara Minami singing JUJU’s signature song “Yasashisa de Afureru You ni” in the afternoon tea commercial.
Not only can you enjoy her vocals, but the visuals also capture the warm feelings you experience precisely because it’s a cold winter—another highlight.
A hot drink on a chilly day really is one of winter’s little happinesses.
Paradise Has No BorderToukyou Sukapara Daisu Ookesutora

The song playing in Hyoketsu’s “Let’s Go Anew with Sakana-kun” commercial is Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra’s signature track, “Paradise Has No Border.” From the very first notes, the electrifying, unforgettable melody—one that almost everyone has heard—lifts your spirits! This instrumental number is insanely cool, featuring a collaboration with Sakana-kun boldly sounding the bass sax.
Doesn’t it perfectly fit the mood for a toast, too? It’s a feel-good track that makes you want to enjoy it with everyone.
