List of Local Festivals Nationwide [2026]

Yachiyo Music Festa is a community-driven music event held annually in Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture. A distinctive feature is that the Yachiyo City Regional Promotion Foundation and the YMF Executive Committee select performers and staff through an open call and manage everything independently from planning to production. Building on over 30 years of history since its predecessor, the Yachiyo Rock Festival, the event will be held with free admission at the Yachiyo City Citizens’ Hall Grand Theater on February 22, 2026, serving as a platform that supports the region’s musical culture.

Bridge Fes is a three-day festival with the tagline “Riding the waves of sound to connect the world,” bringing together artists across genres—music, comedy, spoken word—and championing the theme of “connecting people through art.” The venue is Fuchu no Mori Geijutsu Gekijo Furusato Hall in Fuchu City, Tokyo, where you can enjoy live performances and exhibits by personalities and artists from FM 8.4 MHz Radio TAMA River. Scheduled for February 2026.

“HBC Idol Festival 2026 Namera Menkoi Idol Winter!” is an idol event hosted by HBC Hokkaido Broadcasting, to be held at Sapporo’s Kanamoto Hall in February 2026 during the Sapporo Snow Festival. Popular idols familiar from HBC Radio will gather in midwinter Sapporo, with acts including Title TBA, Phantom Theta, and SKE48. The event will also be streamed under the Pococha presents banner.

As part of Katsushika Ward’s “Katsushika, the City of Music” initiative, this music event was launched to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Katsushika Symphony Hills. Ten rock-oriented amateur bands, mainly active within the ward, will gather at the Mozart Hall to deliver a wide variety of performances. The guest act is Alaska Jam, known for its one-of-a-kind style that fuses hip hop and guitar rock. Scheduled for February 2026, admission is free and no reservation is required.
